Minstrel’s Waypoint [Cmaj], the non-macro musicians guild on EU is here to celebrate our anniversary! To do so we have decided to host a party at 20:00 CEST on Sunday the 26th of July in Lion’s Arch, all are welcome!

For those of you who do not know of us, Minstrel’s Waypoint is the biggest musical guild on the EU servers, and our main goal is to have fun while playing music ourselves, not with macro’s. We’ve been at it for a year and during that year we have not only had a lot of fun, but we’ve also improved a lot! On the EU Servers we’ve been requested to play at numerous events, including Aurora Glade’s huge community events that you may have heard of. We’ve finally decided to try to host our own event, and they were lovely enough to donate us something special to give away.

What’s going to happen during the party?

[Cmaj] is a music guild above all else and therefore, there will of course be a musical concert performed by the guild. There will be many different songs, from Yann Tiersen’s Comptine d’Un Autre Eté
to Darude’s Sandstorm. However, it is still a party! There will be a few fun games we’ve come up with (with prizes for the winners of course) and a raffle to win a Mini Llama and other prizes.

Over the last few months we have spent planning this event, our guild has raised a lot of gold between us for giveaways. As stated before there will be a raffle, this raffle will have three prizes which are;
For third place: A Musical Harp (or a Musical Instrument of your choice) from the Gem Store.
For second place: Another Musical Harp, and a Mini Rock.
Finally, for first place: Not only a third Musical Harp, but an extremely rare Mini Llama, only obtainable by visiting the ArenaNet booth at Gamescom, or through certain community events, which were graciously provided with Llamas by ArenaNet themselves.

We have also planned a Costume Contest with the theme “Pokémon”. Get creative!

Where and when?

At 19:45 CEST Sunday the 26th of July we will assemble in the newly recreated Lions Arch by the North Entrance, here the guild will play random songs until 8:00 when we will all run to the Vigil Keep, playing songs as we go. To ensure you are in the correct flow for the event you should whisper some of the members of our guild;

Any of these members will be happy to invite you to a party so you may join our flow, but please leave the party afterwards to ensure we can get everyone together.
