So on Monday I posted a thread in general discussions about the looting mechanics of the game and how minor they are right now , some people wrote back and some of them have some pretty good ideas abotu the progress of the game ! Now the reason why I am writing on that forums is because it has to do something with the events (not new ones but maybe all of them ) . Yes like boss fights , dungeons , fractals and raids or even the WvW and PvP ! Now from the idea that people shared with me and with other guys in our discussion I really loved the one Idea that was all about skins ! Now the idea is that it might be hard to get an exotic from a boss or dungeon or more harder to make a legendary and have that awesome effect that the legendary weapons have , so the thought of getting or looting a skin from a boss fight or dungeon or whatever , came up ! Also to make it more difficult to get those skins it would be a great idea to make these skins account bound and you will only have the chance to salvage it save it or throw it away ! Now skins can be all kinds of weapons and armor parts not sets but armor parts . Something like the new maps of HoT tried to do but it has the feeling of armor sets because if you switch from one map to the other then the armor that you can get is changing ! However these kind of armor won’t be giving you stats but only the skin that you will be able to change it by using transmutation charges to change the skin ! I thought that this is a really creative and really good idea because not all of us have the time to get a legendary and it’s kind of boring and monotone to see only Sunrise, Twilight , The legend and the other all legendary weapons . How ever some of us craft the legendaries because of the skin and we all know that we can just craft an ascended and use it but we really love the shine and the idea of owning a legendary. Moreover I and I know that a lot of people love to change there characters look because some times we already have the stats power on the armor but we might need to change the skin and add a different one to make us look cool ! I really hope that am not shooting in the dark right now I really wish that the idea that I just shared would be another huge game changer of the overall game and it will be really thankful to see that in the game because it’s not only me that wants that but I think lot of people would love it ! Also adding skins am not saying adding 1 or 2 but a lot of them that will bring up the feeling of achieving something that is really shiny and cool looking !
