The only small difference is that has few unofficial announcement (here and reddit), the other all the fuss on Gw2 login and Fb (and Twitter?).

I think the public’s view on sPvP is pretty obvious at this point.

So we didn’t beat the 1337pro esport heroes in viewers, but for a bunch of casuals killtrading in pve gear behind the windmill, I don’t think we did too badly.

On a more serious note…
Massive thank you to GD for these fights. Honestly, having the possibility to fight you guys/VII/VoTF is the only reason i’ve kept playing this game for the last few months. Not sure what i’ll do now.
Regardless of result, these kind of fights are incredible to be involved in. I was actually elated when I saw we got Elona in the matchup this week, I guess someone at Anet was looking out for us. If I don’t do anything else competitive in GW2, i’m glad I got to fight you guys before the end. From a melee player POV, its an honour to go against the GD melee train. Best melee train EU by a long way.

You guys were clearly one step ahead in every aspect. Well deserved victory and an impressive display. Hats off, hopefully we can give a better display next time. Congratulations and thanks for these fights.

twitch footage has some issues right know, seems like the last two fight are missing from my point of view (spectator). I will look into it tomorrow, i hope it’s not lost.

Fights were amazing GD, a juggling act between dodging your damage and trying to get off our own. I think Scnd played its best it ever has done tonight, the pressure led to the upmost focus and determination, and for that a shoutout to my own guildies who’ve made me immensely proud.

Your melee train is the best around GD and the co-ordination you pull off is still as incredible as back when we first fought. You pushed us to our limit, thankyou so much for the fights! If this was to be our last GvG ever then we’re happy it could be this.
