Hi,
I am Tanglewood, founder of The Skritts Hit The [Fan].
I am looking for participants for a video I am working on to be uploaded to youtube just for fun.
The concept is to make a music video somewhat similar to the videos we saw a lot of from GW1, where you would see 50+ people sync dancing in some scenes. The links below are for reference to what i’m talking about for anyone who hasn’t seen them or would enjoy the nostalgia trip.
From what i’ve seen searching around on youtube there aren’t many GW2 dance videos in comparison to what the community produced in GW1. The few that are there are not at all on the same scale of the GW1 videos either.
So I intend to make one of a similar sort just for a bit of fun.
I am all set to do so but I am in need of people willing to participate.
I intend to do most of the recording next weekend starting friday evening to sunday evening 7th-9th of march.
The reason I am posting this now is so that I can gauge the amount of people interested in joining the project.
I really think this game has a great community and so I am confident in your support.
More information:
- My server is Yak’s Bend [NA] and so the recording will all take place in this server and so unfortunately anyone on a european server won’t be able to join in.
- I have posted this to the official forums and the sub reddit.
- Meeting up to start recording scenes will happen on friday the 7th march at 10:30pm GMT.
(yes I am english and I play on an american server)
- The meetup location is the very center of Ebonhawke. This is purely because it’s easy to get to and will be quiet.
(The video will be recorded all over the game, locations to be decided during the week. Please offer suggestions)
- During the event of recording the big scenes I will be asking people to bring specific races to sync.
- Feel free to pm me in game during the week to ask questions and such. my IGN is Roan Tanglewood.
- Everyone who takes part shall have their name as they want it in the credits.
- The resulting youtube video will not be monetized.
- There is probably some piece of vital information i’ve not included here but I can’t think what it is.
