Hello Tyrians,

With Lion’s Arch being Rebuilt we want to share the love of our new metropolis with one and all. SOR based guild Sinister Swarm would like to invite all to a party in Lion’s Arch filled with fun and games. We’ll start out with a Cosplay Parade where we will be displaying our characters built after movies, Anime, Cartoons and video games. Please feel free to come along and participate bring your cosplay characters or your own toons. We’ll be ending the parade with music and food as well as a dance party. We will also have water balloon fights, Boxes o’ fun and bobblehead stations. With the date soon approaching we will announce the date here to let you know when it will be happening.

I found your website thread but your proposed timing for this. That’s likely because we don’t know yet when the LA change is coming (hopefully they’ll give us a longer heads up than “a new build will be available in ten minutes,” given their wish for us to party beforehand).

Anyway, what general time of day/day of week are you considering?

Yeah we haven’t posted a date or time yet since Anet hasn’t announced exactly when it will be updated, though I suspect from their latest news about it that it will be in the next two weeks. Since they said the next update. But we figure that it will probably be around 5 or 6pm PST.

Please, come one come all to our party it will be happening Wednesday, July 1st at 6pm PST. Bring your cosplay characters or just any toon. we’ll be marching around LA and then at the end have our cosplay contest and festivities.

And if you don’t know who Maleficent is you will find out, muh ha ha!

Today’s the BIG day!! I’m so excited, I couldn’t sleep!!! I stayed up late last night, taking advantage of the free character slot I got with my HoT pre-order! I made another Cosplay character, so now I have to decide which one to enter in the contest, LOL! This one is Alice in Wonderland (actually my version is Fate in Wonderland) and I’m reaaaaallly hoping someone will do the Mad Hatter!! If someone had the light heritage armor from hall of monuments in the original GW, that would be perfect with either the top hat or the ringmaster’s hat!! So if anyone might be thinking of going but you’re not sure what to go as, there’s an idea We have Ventrilo and will be able to guest anyone who is interested for the event (it’s free if you want to download it) also our media manager is going to stream it on twitch here: http://www.twitch.tv/nylanmage & then upload it to our YouTube page here: https://www.youtube.com/user/SinisterSwarm for anyone who missed it!
