Guild Wars 2

Hey, me and my girlfriend decided we’re going to spend the day leveling in GW2 so we thought we’d advertise it to everybody else that doesn’t know about this method.

We’re going to be using all our boosters (Birthday, EXP, Foods) to maximize what we can get and we are going to be running the Harathi Hinterland Chain that starts at the Junction Waypoint.

For those that don’t know how this works, you have to defend a camp from incoming centaur which means countless centaur waves for 8 minutes which means tonnes of exp (Great for killstreak boosters) It then moves into a section which isn’t AS good for exp but you still get decent experience and lots of champions to kill. Rinse and repeat.

The only requirements to join really are to be able to tag level 42~ mobs enough to get credit for the kills.

This chain is really good for exp and you usually end up gaining 1-2 levels per run.

To maximize downtime (The event begins once again after 17 minutes after Champion Modnir finally dies) We’ll be guesting over to another server to complete the first part of the event where it has just begun then by the time that event finishes we go back to our home server where the chain will be beginning again.

The server we’re going to be running this train on is called “Far Shiverpeaks”. I’ll create a temporary guild specifically for this event so we can let everyone know what server to guest to (We’ll also make a shoutout in map chat so don’t worry if you can’t join) after the chain at Far Shiverpeaks ends.

We’ll be running this pretty much all day and hope you’ll all join us on this leveling frenzy.

REQUIREMENTS:

EU Account
Ability to tag level 42 mobs~ (Roughly level 35+ should be enough)
MAKE SURE TO KEEP YOUR TWO GUESTING OPTIONS OPEN ON THAT DAY

11AM/11:00 British Time (Not even sure what we call it)

Come to Far Shiverpeaks Junction Waypoint in Harathi Hinterlands

This method is decent XP. You should just go into the Labyrinth though. Way faster XP if you are doing it for leveling. You’ll be lvl 80 by the end of the day.

Grab your best tagging weapon. Get a small group. Do all the doors with the zerg. Especially the Foes Remain ones. When the zerg is killing the Champs or waiting in the middle between door spawns just run around killing mobs.
Grab the mobs in the corners since they never get touched they give big bonus XP.

It’s hard to do solo because some of the mobs throw you around. 3-5 people can clear through mobs fast and no problems with tagging. Don’t do the doors without the zerg though. More mobs spawn at the Foes remain doors if there is a bigger group there which means WAY more XP for you if you are with the zerg and they are easy to tag.

Labyrinth is too unreliable :p The trains often split and the time spent at the bigger bosses isn’t worth it. Tried that and found this to be more enjoyable and better exp to time ratio ^^

We’ll be here almost all day [ no life day ;D ]. We made a guild for it to make communication easier aswell

Sadly didn’t realise patch was today, the patch killed the train and we had to retake the waypoint and everyone just seemed to leave :< Was going really well until the patch hit.
