Put on your collective thinking caps, and start coming up with plans for your group’s party. We’ll give you a heads-up as the date approaches. And don’t forget to share your party plans on the official forums.

Just a head’s up to the community, the Community SiG(Special Interest’s Group) that brought you such events as The King and Queen’s Horrorween, Winter Blunderland, Hobo’s Valentine Adventure and Eexa’s Easter will be creating a community event for EU and quite possibly for the first time NA in-game, due to cross-community talks.

We would love to hear ideas on what you would like to see within the event, peruse the event section for our past events and decide what you would like to see in the event!

This is still at an early stage, but “construction” is under way in earnest!

See I would love if you had some kinda art contest again! You’ve had it before and I loved it!! Its soo much fun and great if you’re unable to attend at the event you can still be part of it!

nice to hear that you will organize a nice event again

things i would love to see:

- Art Contest (Artworks posted into forum again)

- Fashion Contest (ingame)
—> different themes (fabulous, scary, hero-look, dark lord, etc)

- GW2 Puzzles & Riddles —> create poems where a certain GW2 related character/item/place etc. is searched
or let players create such puzzles and the best puzzles win

- Best Petrification Pose (from the box of fun buff)

- Best GW2 Joke you know – if Lions Arch related even better

- March through new Lions Arch (with every possible tonic/fireworks and every blinking sparkling shiny effect you can bring)
(March through old Lions Arch before patch?)

I would like a a revisit to the destructions of LA with Scarlet as it was something that I have missed (maybe by talking to a historian to join the event for the period of the celebration).
This would give people something to do and a chance to collect some rare materials they missed out on for the back pieces etc.

As far as the party, I would love Gaile to come back and visit with the frog!!!!

I know this is probably outside the remit of the SiG, but I wanted to put it out there anyway

I really hope that you can bring this to NA!
My idea is really Anet’s. “In the meantime, we’d like every guild, group, and gang of friends to consider how they’re going to celebrate the new Lion’s Arch. A poetry reading? A historical reenactment? A musical extravaganza? Or how about just…a party?”
While I don’t know about the poetry thing, and music is a given, the reenactment idea could be really cool. I have no idea how you can do it though.

It sounds like a lot of great ideas are in the works? Where could one receive updates and/or check on details, so we can participate? I’ve had very few chances to participate in community events, outside of my own guild, but would like to participate in something like this. Let me know how I can contribute and/or participate!
