PC's Temple Crawl , Weekend of Nov 2nd
We used to call assassins in GW1 Portable Corpses, hahaha. Great name for a group. But seriously, we need more of these initiatives. This is a great idea.

Hey, I was just following PC in a temple run yesterday. I’d love to do another one with you. Thanks so much for organizing this.

@Mad Queen: You’ve hit it on the nose. Temples by and large are easy (ok, Balth might currently be an exception) but not all servers are doing them. It doesn’t take hypermassive zergs. A meager group of 20 players can take any temple (with a healthy bit of skill and luck at Balth, to be sure), and in fact 10 players can get you most of the temples. There’s no reason for players to have to flock to server X or server Y to do temples. Players LIKE doing them, I suspect they just need for a figure-head out front to lead the way at the start, to show the farmers on the server that the events are easy, giving gobs of xp and loot. The bigger the zerg, the more the drops, but to get your dragonite ore you only need a meager handful of players. Heck, most of my Balth efforts start with only 2-3 players. It’s great when a guild helps out yes, but you can kick off the main Balth escort with less than a full party. Even Melandru needs only about 10 players to finish, and I’m not sure how I’d test it (always scales up big at the end) but I’d wager Grenth can also finish on fewer than 10 players. Players shouldn’t need anyone to come along and show them how its done, but eh, sometimes it takes introducing them to the content.

(For the record, the top screenshot is from a guild zerg that ran over my smaller zerg at Lyssa – hence all the commander pins – not all my work, but that’s kind of the point. You players take the temples. I’m just giving you guys a focus and come along for the ride).

Oooh — intel from the server I’m aiming at….
Assuming adequate local support (2 organized 4-man teams), I put odds near 9:1 for opening the Balth Temple in 3 pushes, which is about what I give my home server.
Time for me to start baking some feasts/trays for this…

Note to self, get a replacement mouse before doing this, I’ll want my push-to-talk button back.
Oh, please share the TS (or other voip) info with me. I’d love to be able to chat with everyone.
Also I’d like to help if I can do anything.

Is this for NA or EU?
NA, sorry, supse I should mention that earlier.

Ah, voice comms — the assumption I’m working from is that the server has their own. If not, I may bring some folks onto my guild’s server, but that sets a tone for the event I don’t like — This is a thing everyone does as a group. I mainly provide initiative. If it’s a community server, the view presented is it’s more a community event.

(Yay, I has a new mouse. It appears to work, but I’ve not tried all the buttons yet — You’d be astonished what a decent trackball costs these days.)
So, aiming for about 12:30 server time on Sat. Server will be announced at go time, watch GW2LFG for a current status.

Server: Anvil Rock. Starting at Lyssa. Updates to GW2LFG as I can manage.
Ty all for coming – We got 4 of the 5 temples open. Were able to summon the karka queen, but our zerg was perhaps 10 players short of what we needed for a kill :/
2 of the 3 pushes at Balth got close. I expect that Anvil Rock could do temples regularly, if someone there made a point of trying them each weekend, win, lose or draw. Doesn’t even need a commander pin for it, just a tenacity of not quitting when things get hard. Balthazar temple defines hard.
Crawling tonight at Kaening.
