I’ve taken part in a lot of secret santa events, mainly on forum art ones. Their quite fun.
So i wanted to make a pre-prep post to see how many ppl would be interested in doing secret santa, and helping out as mini helpers that still get gifts but keep me from pulling out my hair ^^;;

What is Secret Santa?
~Around Mid to Late November you get a list of who wants to join
~They fill out a form listing a few items that they would like for their xmas gift.
(could be ectos, lodestones, T6 mats, skins, dyes. You could list a legendary precursor maybe your santa has it sitting in their bank not sure what to do with it and their in a extra special giving mood! maybe….)
~Come December everyone is given a random person they are responsible for gifting.

The gifting is done in different ways where the santa is responsible for giving their gift for xmas.
Or the gifts are sent to one person they keep track of who is giving what to who, who hasnt sent something, and they are to give them out and your santa shall remain a mystery unless they want to reveal themselves.

Of course there’s a lot of problems with this.. few being:
~What happens if ppl dont give a gift but get one?
~~It would be the event holder (myself) to make sure everyone gets a gift even if it means i have to spend my own gold. If i can have a few extra giving helpers depending on the amount of ppl truely interested that would be great. But so far this post is to work out any kinks and throw ideas at each other.

~How can we trust one person to give out all said gifts?
~~Yes i know im not a big name on these forum so its not like everyone knows and loves me, so i can understand how im not a very trust worthy person… But i kinda feel like if i were to taken everyone gift that would kind be grounds of anet to ban me X_X and im not really looking to get my account ban if that means anything.

~Can people on EU servers sent mail to ppl on NA servers
~~Thats a good question and would like to gets a admin to confirm or deny this. or test it out myself

But for now i’d like to get an idea of who actually wants to try this event. Even if its only 10 ppl that’s a good sane start and will allow good rep and for us to grow for next years.
