Welcome to Lion’s Arch, a city renowned for its unwavering ability to rise up from destruction and face the dangers which washes upon its shores. The reconstruction of the great city is finally complete and the Captain’s Council has invited us to celebrate this joyous event. Join us in Lion’s Arch (27th June 2015) where you can participate in games, quizzes and many other fun events to win some great prizes. Don’t forget to spare a few moments of silence to remember those who lost their lives defending this great city and pay your respects at the Field of the Fallen.
A free copy of Guild Wars:Heart of Thorns will also be given out!

Summertime Part 2: Fun in the Sun (Both EU and NA)

Greetings citizens of Tyria! Summer is well on its way, and as such, it is time for a beach party! The Consortium have invited us to enjoy one of their beach resorts at Southsun Cove and while we don’t entirely trust them, it’s difficult to say no to a party!

Dust of your bathing suits and visit your local merchant for some suntan lotion, and don’t forget to bring some drinks! It is a party after all. There will be dancing, games, quizzes and prizes. There will also be musical performances on both the EU and NA side from the world famous Minstrel’s Waypoint [CMAJ] (EU) and Musicians Guild of Tyria [MGT] (NA).

Party Begins 19.00 CEST / 6 pm UK (in EU) and in 3 PM PDT (in NA)

How do I take part?
The event will be hosted by Aurora Glade on an EU and NA megaserver on the 3rd of July 2015. There will be a pre-event beginning 30 minutes earlier. All you have to do is attend the festivities and participate in the games for a chance at some wonderful prizes, including a Miniature Llama!

Why not draw one of our staff or your own character, relaxing on the beach. Or maybe you want to design a postcard from your favourite Tyrian beach hotspot. Anything related to summer in Guild Wars 2 will be perfect! You can use any material available to you, and you can post your art work right here in this thread. Winners will be drawn during the event. And we’ll announce the winner on the forums. Please also state your character/account name that you want us to send the prize to.

The raffle, how do I take part?
Pick a number between 1 and 100, and we’ll randomly draw five winners from that list, during the event. Just pick one number and your character name, and post in this thread which number you’ve chosen. You can’t take a number that has already been picked, and one number per account. And some folks may receive a different number automatically, if they choose a number that is already taken. Without a character name, we can’t send you the prize. Make sure you spell it right.
