on 23rd June the guild [Teef] will be hosting event (on NA and EU) as response to lazy implementation of stealth counter (Lock on) as well as to loved children, engis.

Event will consist of 3 parts:
1) queueing for pvp matches (unranked/ranked)
2) running ganking groups in EotM
3) lottery (guild only) – to help fellow thieves to get new equipment

Non-guildies can take part (1,2) as well. Rules/remarks:
- only thieves can take part on it
- run s/d/sb evade build (acro prefered)
- due to large amount of engi changes we had to take in, we (thieves) may suffer from extreme fortgetfulness, such as forgetting to rez or stealth team members that aren’t thieves :>
- expression of “love” towards engis is encouraged

1) PvP queues will start after patch on 23rd June. You can run alone or form groups, the idea, as stated before, to unleash evade monsters upon pvp as community asked with their complains about stealth for past 3 years :>

2) WvW ganking groups will be running after matches. Mostlikely 2-3 hours after patch hits servers. Exact time to be announced in this thread. If you are interested on taking part in it, please post here or send mail with your region (NA/EU) and server color so we could organize commanders and groups.

3) Lottery will be held only for guildies. 1g entry ticket. Each account can enter up to 5 tickets max. Name will be decided on next day at 8 pm CET by RNG. Winner gets all gold that we collected from tickets.

We got that trait out of nowhere becuse the overkill on turrets, the love is in general cuse of that. (so, don’t worry, it’ll stop the moment we get some refund from that turret nerf, which probably we already did)

You do realize that the vast majority of players have never complained or actively lobbied against you, right? And that your class is still in a great place, and received several nice buffs that add build diversity and efficiency? This is just some world class fit throwing and nothing more.

Top players are using them, they’re in tourny teams. Definitely OP.

I expect some quality video material out of this event, Cynz, pls make sure you document the moment sword 3 breaks the Eotm.

Please just don’t make it a “hate” event, just because the devs may stick with ridiculous balance changes.
