Hey there fellow Tyrians!

I’m Xan, GW2 streamer and gaming mentor, and tonight I’m having a little event over on my stream. I would’ve posted about it WAY farther in advance, but the forums have been temperamental lately.

Tonight, January 26th, from 6pm EST (US Eastern time) onward, myself and several friends are going to be on stream together hosting a Mentoring Night. Some people from our group of friends who didn’t used to play just recently got into GW2, either for the first time, or returning from a very long hiatus. So with that being said, and in the wake of the massive weekend sale, AND with HoT on the horizon, we’re putting in some extra effort to welcome any new or returning players.

Myself and the other veterans will be hanging out in Skype with a few of our newbie friends to show them the ropes, get them through their first few levels, and do whatever we can to make the experience fun and insightful. While we do, we want to extend that sentiment to the rest of the community. Anyone else who’s in the same boat (or any other veterans who want to join in the mentoring) are welcome to join us in stream chat, ingame, or both to tag along for heart quests and world events, get help with story missions you might be stuck on, ask us questions, and anything else we can do to help (aside form begging for money, let’s keep it reasonable, guys).
