Hello everyone! I’ve been lurking around here for some time now, so much awesome work!

As a huge GW2 lover and artist that has some down time, I thought that I would begin to offer commissions for in-game gold. While I’m on break, I feel this would help me improve my abilities and help me begin the long trek of acquiring Sunrise.

If there is a certain style other than the one below you are interested in, PM me and we can discuss it, as current pricing applies to the style below.

Pricing
80g – Single Character with or without effects/partial environment

+30g for an additional character or pets/minons/etc.

Half of the payment will be collected after I have shown you the rough sketch and you have approved it, the remainder can be sent after I have shown you a smaller version of the piece, following which I will then send you the full resolution.

I will require a PM/email to maevemavolent@gmail.com containing the following:

Reference screens of your character, armour and weapons, and possibly location if applicable
A description of what you’d like your character to be doing in the piece. (Pose, expression, extra effects, etc.

While not required, I would greatly appreciate and love if you gave me more information about your character. What is THEIR story? I love hearing these things and I feel it will vastly assist me in making the artwork to your liking. If you have any short stories, send those too!

To start I’ll keep 2 slots open and after I’ll see if I can open more, but first I want to say thank you for reading and any interest you may have! It means a lot to me.

The example with your mesmer looks really fantastic. I love the style and you’ve executed it really, really well. Quite often I’ll find artists whose style is about 80% appealing to me, but there’s usually something odd going on, like a weird face or lifeless pose that keeps it from being spot on for me. You’ve really hit the nail on the head though, for me at least. I’d sign up, but I see you’ve already got quite the waiting list, so I think I’ll just eagerly stay tuned for when you post more work.

Does it have to be our GW2 characters? Could I give you screenshots of my GW1 character instead? I would still send you GW2 reference shots (poses, effects, etc) but I would want the actual appearance to be my GW1 character.

Just in general I would say, however a whole army of pets may need some consideration haha!

I could, It’s been a while but that style would take much longer for me to produce than the one I’m offering. I’m not against it, that would just mean a price adjustment.

Oh my god! i hadn’t been so exited about something considering a game! i’ve been playing the game since release and specifically even if i have 6 80lvl characters i’ve spent 95% playtime on my elementalist.
The idea of having a portait of a character so loveable to you is so amazing!
if i could get a spot on the waiting list, i would be so grateful!
Keep up the good work. Every single painting is SO awesome!

I see it’s all humans or humanoid characters, do you commission Asuran characters as well? And do you think it’s worth it? Wouldn’t they be too small?
