Gem prices. 1 gold = 5 gems. One year ago 1 gold = 66 gems. 2 years ago 1 gold = 400+ gems.

Hmmm… looks over many desired items.
See’s prices higher then the previous year.
Looks like inflation to me.
Problem is, the majority of items in game are non desirable. Hence, they skew what the true cost of living (gear, consumables, etc) in Tyria is.
