Me and my uncle are long time MMO players who have been looking for our new addiction for the next few years. My best experience was being the main tank for a WoW hardcore raiding guild from vanilla up through WotLK. Have experience formulating new strategies, being a raid leader, and many other MMO officer duties. My uncle is a long time Lineage 2 player and is still to this day one of the most known players to ever be on there. He has an unreal tolerance to grind and become the best of the best. I already own the game, and he will be activating a full account after this weekends free trial. We are looking for a serious group of mature gamers who can help us while in the learning phase. We will pay into any guild twofold once we get high enough to contribute. Looking for a mature group of gamers who are dedicated, have great communication (Vent, TS, Mumble, etc…) and are willing to recruit new players. We are 27 and 43 respectively and handle ourselves with the utmost maturity in guild, but do like to get a bit silly from time to time. Being able to curse on vent is a must. Also, we most likely are looking at a Necromancer / Warrior combo. My uncle is a big fan of melee DPS while I would like to branch into a ranged DPS / Support.

Hey Megadeth,

Darkhaven Elite [DHE] would be a great fit for you and your uncle in the long run . However, we currently only focus on endgame content and only recruit experienced players. That being said, we would need you to level at least one character up to 80 on your own before joining up.

We have a great group of knowledgeable people who are always on TS. We get things done very efficiently, even as we constantly joke around along the way. Quite a few of us have most or all classes at lvl 80, and we know the right team compositions for every dungeon.

I’d suggest playing on Darkhaven and taking 2-3 weeks to learn basic mechanics and level up. Once you gain some momentum, talk to anyone from DHE (you will without a doubt come across someone while you play) about joining.

The learning phase that you are looking for actually starts when you hit 80 and are ready to start doing end game content. Until then, you can just do map exploration, story missions, and crafting (crafting is the fastest way to level in this game, if you have the funds). Don’t get me wrong, we have people who enjoy teaching, but we can’t really help you level.

Side note:
Warrior is by far the best class for melee DPS in PvE, so your uncle should stick with that.
Necros don’t have much support. If you want to have support in addition to ranged DPS i’d recommend playing an Ele instead.

We are a smaller growing guild on Sorrow’s Furnace with many active good hearted players who just like to relax and have fun. We have a variety of people from dungeon crawlers to event farmers and are always happy to party up with guildies. About us:

Uber Noobz. (NooB) is looking for new and seasoned players to join our guild.
NooBs is a recently formed small guild whose founders originated in Guild Wars 1 and have been around since launch.

Our main goal is to relax and have fun with the game, not create a second job for people. Therefore, the guild is easy going and we welcome players of all skill levels, experience, and time spent in game. We have no explicit age requirements, rules, or lengthy application processes. That being said, if you are not comfortable with either a guild that likes joking around or hearing a couple curse words here and there, we may not be the best fit for you.

What we have to offer:

-Currently 70 members and growing, 25 of which are active daily. Most of our members are on evening and weekends.

-Dungeon Crawling: We have people able to run any type of dungeon (fotm up to lvl 20) including the typical speed runs and don’t mind teaching new members.

I’m the guild leader of a PvE guild on Sorrow’s Furnace called Wrath Incarnate (WIN)
We are a friendly and all inclusive guild hoping to make every members gaming experience positive and enjoyable. We have over 140 members and a great core group that logs in everyday; we are also home to casual players and don’t mind if you only log in once or twice a week.

We consistently run Guild Bounties, Treks and have just unlocked Rushes as well as Challenges. We are constantly running all dungeons in story and exp mode and also do Fractals runs . We schedule WvW events on reset or at least once a week as a guild to mix things up.
