Guild Wars 2

Hello folks! My name is Drake and I as well as a friend of mine (Topaz) are looking for a nice laid back guild to join and play the game with. To be frank, we are both fairly busy people, and probably will be playing on a pretty casual level. It could very well be that there will be days in between playing sessions, so we are looking for a guild that is rather laid back in that respect and does not require us to be on all the time and can cope with us being gone for a week or so.
While I do have experience with the living and open world content, I am inexperienced when it comes to guild events, dungeons, fractals and the like. Topaz basically just started playing a week ago and is still leraning everything right now.
I do play a thief as a main character (Level 80, gathering exotic equip at the moment) but I do have several other characters as well. Topas is not sure what she will main, but it will most likely be a thief too.

We are looking for a guild which can offer the following:
- it is either english/international or german
- the more members the merrier, so 50+ would be nice
- as said above, no requirement on as to when or how often to play the game
- laid back athmosphere
- We’re on Vabbi, but we would also be willing to join a guild from another server, but we can’t transfer
- (at least some) focus on PvE since we are both not too much into PvP or WvW
- a nice and helpful community that is able to deal with noobs like us
- NO MANDATORY TS or VoIP, though the option would be nice to have

Tarnished Cult is a cross-server guild with 88 members currently. We are very laid-back in terms of activity requirements, because we realize that real-life can and should take precedence over a game.

That being said, we take the game seriously as well. A number of our members are highly ranked on the PvP leaderboards, and we have many members who regularly solo and duo the hardest dungeons in the game for fun and profit.

We do ask that members try to get a dps set of gear for the official guild dungeon runs we do, but we also understand that it can take some time to gather the tokens or funds for this, so we are very patient in this regard.

We have many players that have been playing for years, and are more than happy to dispense advice in a friendly and non-judgemental way. A number of us have tried everything that gw2 has to offer, and decided now to play the “dress-up” endgame while hanging out in chat as the end-game.

We are english-speaking, international (members from many different countries) and german (both leaders are german)
We do have 50+ members, BUT: We want to give not regularly or not so often active players a home as well, so you wont find most of them online at the same time. In peak times its around 10-15 members online, but a every member has a real life this can vary From this you can read we are really laid-back and its no problem if you wont play for days.

We are looking for a guild which can offer the following:

• it is either english/international or german
  We’re european based, with a few americans who play at our timezone. (English speaking)

• the more members the merrier, so 50+ would be nice
  We’ve got 20-30 online most times, with roster around 200

• as said above, no requirement on as to when or how often to play the game
  That’s free to the player, though x weeks inactivity will get you kicked.

• laid back athmosphere
  Casual / Family style is our aim!

• We’re on Vabbi, but we would also be willing to join a guild from another server, but we can’t transfer
  No need to transfer for us

• (at least some) focus on PvE since we are both not too much into PvP or WvW
  We’re dedicated to PvE with players also doing PvP, only a few do WvW (We don’t offer WvW events as guild)

  We’re very newb friendly, you can ask anything

• NO MANDATORY TS or VoIP, though the option would be nice to have
