Who we are: Two friendly Canadians looking for a new home for their level 80 characters.
What we play: We generally do PvE, dungeons, fractals… but occasionally do WvW.
Where we play: We’re on the Dragonbrand server and would prefer to stay there. Trying to minimize costs – we just bought a house.
When we play: We’re in the EST zone, and we typically play from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
What we’re looking for: A casual, friendly, mature guild that treats players with respect and likes to both have fun and play hard. Sass and sarcasm are welcome. Jokes at others’ expense are not.

A few more details…
My fiancé and I are in our late 20s. He’s a digital artist and illustrator, I’m an elementary school teacher. We work hard, and consequently there will be some nights where we won’t be able to play at all, so a casual guild would suit us best! We like to get to know the people we play with, so active guild chat, forums, voice chat, etc. would be lovely.

We’re looking for a guild that can balance having fun with playing hard. We like to laugh, make jokes, and have a good time, but we also like tackling some of the more challenging content out there. We like dungeons! We also like running around as a herd of Quaggan. Y’know. Like you do.

When we’re not playing GW2, we are likely enjoying one of these other things: other video games, board games, tabletop, cooking, theatre, crafting, art shows… We have an active social life outside of the game, but we always make time for our guild! As I mentioned before, we just bought a house AND we’re getting married in December, so these two things are resulting in a fairly busy schedule, but we also like to take time for ourselves to de-stress, and GW2 is a good way to do that.

It’s pretty early and I haven’t even had one tiny sip of coffee yet today, so if I forgot something that would be good to know (which is likely), ask away!

Our Community

• New – At two months old we have room for you to rank up.
• Mature – We screen our applicants. Our ages range from 18 – 60. We are not religious & you may hear some cursing.
• Active – Recruiting all time zones. We have 50+ members across 4 games, 30 of those in GW2.
• Website – Our site is hosted by Enjin, paid up for a year.
• Helpful – Useful and easy to navigate information on our site. Enjoy answering questions.
• Voice Comms – We use Mumble & Enjin chat via Overwolf overlay to communicate across multiple games.
• Live Streamers – We support Twitch. Our streamers often do giveaways.
• Newbie Friendly – We are very helpful and welcome new players.
• Stormbluff Isles – We are active on SBI, but allow guesting. Don’t forget you can delete all your chars for a free transfer.

In-Game Activity

• WvW – Actively involved. We often run alone. Recently bought our first commanders tag.
• sPvP – Currently putting together a tPvP team, will soon have a custom arena.
• Leveling – We often team up with and help our lower levels.
• Missions – We are still working on unlocking these. Currently only doing Guild Bounty Training.
• Dungeons – Some dungeon running. Activity will increase as we recruit new members and our low levels reach 80.
• Fractals – Same as above. Our most active runners are at level 3-5.
• World Bosses – We often report active bosses and kill most of them on a nightly basis.
• Representing – We do not require 100% representation, but atleast 75+-%.

OK, I’m way too excited about your post so I’m going to just break down a few things in response cause otherwise I’m just going to be like #Y(#%POSHU OMGZ PLZ JOIN! (-controls self-).

• We are Tonic [Lime] on Crystal Desert (NA). It’s not DB and we know you guys are spending money IRL but we help people transfer as needed so don’t worry about that.
• We are PvX so we do absolutely everything (PvE, Dungeons, Fractals, WvW, PvP) but we don’t make anyone do anything.
• We are an EST guild. We also have a lot of Canadians. I think we have half of Ontario in our guild of only 75 people. Cause, you know, math.
• Your “what we’re looking for” is a PERFECT description of our guild… We’re mostly 25+, healthy sense of humor, but with a strict no offensive policy.
• Running as a herd of quaggan. Why we know nothing about that! (Ok, yes we do: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKVYs2nZ85w)
• We’re casual but semi-hardcore as in… we definitely play hard but don’t take ourselves too seriously.
• We’re a pro-real-life guild and we always say “real life first.” Nothing is mandatory.
• We’re social in and out of the game. We have an active website, active TeamSpeak, active facebook group, and we’re obviously active in game.
