Hi all. I played GW2 on release up until late 2013 when I stopped for various reasons: IRL friends stopped playing, guild commitments and keeping up with the living world were started to conflict with my new job and IRL commitments and I generally ran out of stuff to do ingame.
I’ve been tempted to come back several times but seeing the expansion trailer recently has finally rekindled my love of the GW universe enough to dive back in.
I’ve been away for a long time and I have no IRL friends that play any more so I’m looking for a guild with active, friendly members to catch me up on what’s been going on in Tyria. Any size guild is fine, in fact I kind of prefer the friendliness of small guilds
My only ask is that you have some kind of voip set up like teamspeak or mumble (that members actually use, natch), because typing while playing sucks.
When I say I ran out of stuff to do…: I have every class at lv 80 and most of them fully geared to at least exotic (ascended was just for accessories at the time so that was fully geared). I play mostly mesmer and guardian for serious business and engie or necro for fun on easy content, although that might change if I find any cool trait or move changes since messing around with builds has always been one of my favourite aspects of GW games. I WAS familiar with all dungeon paths and all the fractals, but I’m looking forward to that no longer being the case
I’m PvE focussed but not opposed to a spot of PvP now and then and I was an active member of my guild’s A-team at our weekly SPvP nights before I left.
So… yeah, big gamer in my mid-20s from England with a soul sapping office job looking for guildies to get re-obsessed with my favourite MMO with. Post if you’re willing to have me and/or send an invite to ‘The Crimson Chin’ or ‘Grunk Gearmangle’ ingame Ridiculous/Inappropriate/GW1-Lore-themed guild name is optional but appreciated :p To clarify, server is Aurora Glade, I’d prefer not having to move.
