you might have heard of or met me in past matchups, I am Shino from Aurora Glade, I have been on Aurora Glade since the start and it’s taken me ages to get bored of my server. I’m not biased against nationalised servers, I just don’t speak their languages, although, I do happen to speak quite a bit of German.

why I’m hoping to leave AG:

1. too much voice comm bull**** (< this is the main reason, I simply can’t command without some dude demanding that I go on voice comms)
2. hopelessly bad matchups where we keep fighting either op servers or underpowered servers
3. over egotistical big guilds
4. I need a break

I’m looking for a server that:

1. doesn’t have many big guild but relies on pugs instead
2. doesn’t rely on voice comms too much (I don’t have voice comms)
3. has some great banter
4. doesn’t like RS
5. has respect for other INT servers
6. has easily commandable pugs

what I would bring to the server:

1. good knowledge of WvW
2. I’m a forum guardian who’s loyal to the server he’s on
3. I know a lot of server’s weaknesses
4. I can command for over 2 hours at a time (my record is 5 hours)
5. won’t die easily in combat, I’m usually the last to be downed
6. respect for most enemies (except RS)
7. I have a huge respect for amazing talent from any server (even RS)
8. I know alot of people from other servers

Check out Sea of Sorrows (if you’re considering any NA servers). Very strong oceanic/sea presence, skilled pugs, and no need for ts/mumble/etc to tag up.

Which benefits? If it’s PvE you can guest and check it out for yourself. If it’s WvW, take a look at MOS history. PPT/time does not lie and reveals a lot of information about the server. The most tell tale sign is how the server behaves when it’s matched up against another server with more coverage, PPT/time will tell you how hard they fight in spite of overwhelming odds.

I do empathize with you that some folks don’t use TS. That said, the meta in upper tiers have evolved greatly, the commanders regularly use feints, pincers, sudden flanks, etc and executing these maneuvers requires voice comms, it’s near impossible to do without.

The catch is we have no organized guild solely focused during the Eu timezone, instead you will see skeleton crews of many guilds such as FANG, End, SoV and our large militia population working togethor.

The catch is that we are happy where we are and have no intention of going back to Tier 1.

That’s hard for a lot of folks who haven’t been number 1 and don’t understand how hollow that can be terms of getting quality WvW.

SoS has room for commanders who use voice and those who do not, as long as you are willing to type a lot and work with the other commanders; we’d love to have you.

Come to Stormbluff Isle, or SBI, we are building up an EU presence, with many French transfers for some reason popping up all over our voice coms. They speak english and put up a great fight. We also have an NA presence that usually is playing during EU prime. The nice thing about playing SBI during EU prime is it’s mostly are hardcore playres who have good builds and game knowledge, our newer players don’t log on until NA prime. Your presence would help tremendously, as we often lack steady EU commanders, but have very steady NA commander presence, and a surprisingly stable SEA presence with 2 dedicated Korean commanders who lead EB/borderlands overnight.
