We are a IOJ based WvW guild that operates mostly during NA primetime. Roaming/ small scale fights are our current focus but the end goal is a 15-20 man group comp. Although all experience levels are welcome and encouraged, a passion and drive to succeed and learn is important. If you are a pro, you are expected to help. If you are new to the game mode or class, you are expected to reach out for help, accept constructive criticism or flood the other members with questions :P We are guided by three core values…
INTEGRITY- We must do our part to ensure the guild/server stays free from toxic and cancerous behavior. As such, putting down other guilds on our servers and elitist behavior will not be tolerated.
RESPECT- Having respect for your guild members and allied server members is important, we accomplish this by assisting them both on and off the battlefield. Respecting our enemies is as just important. Both a win and defeat on the field has lessons to be learned.
ACCOUNTABILITY- If you are making mistakes during fights often, you must work on improving or ask for help from your guild members. The more we improve as individuals, the stronger our group synergy is.
Odds and Ends…
We run in TS. This is a requirement. In the interim, just listening (not having a mic) is just fine but down the road, the importance of quick, concise communication will be a necessity.
Representation in WvW is a requirement. Although small, we have a group of dedicated, passionate members that proudly rep [Reus] and would hope you share in that feeling.
As we get more members, our build composition will change. We understand this doesn’t and normally cant happen overnight but adherence to performing a certain role, with your main class, with a generally established guild build will be expected.
The TS and guild chat is in no way, shape or form family friendly. We are all adults and most of us abuse the freedoms of being out from under our parents roof. That being said, discrimination, personal insults and general saltiness to other guild members will leave you immediately high and dry, all alone on the field and out of the guild. But past that, don,t expect an episode of “Mr. Rogers Neighborhood” every time you come in to chat.
We have a very chill guild/TS/Chat environment. However, there is a time and place for everything. I personally care how everyone’s day was and would love to hear about it. However, if you do not see the need or can’t naturally detect when to “clears comms” in a fight, this will cause a problem. Being able to turn on and turn off the “switch” is absolutely crucial.
