Guild Wars 2

Hey,

I just got the game, and I currently have a character who is lvl 6 (A charr guardian). None of my friends really play this game, but I still want other people to play with. I feel like MMO’s in general are more fun when you play with others. At what level should I start looking for a guild? Or do I basically have to be 80 to find a good one? Just looking for some general advice. Thanks guys!

Imo u can start looking whenever you want, guilds are a great place to learn more about the game and u can level up quicker and its more fun with other people.

I would advise to go ahead and join a guild now. The thing is that Guild Wars 2 allows every player up to 5 guilds. So, you can join a guild now for the social/leveling aspects, and as you level up if you feel a need for other guilds you can join those at that time. Some of my guildmates belong to TTS so that they can kill Tequatl on a regular basis, a dedicated WvW guild, their own personal guild for the sake of the guild bank… whatever might suit their fancy.

Joining now gives you the advantage of having someone to ask questions of, a way to get some insights into the more esoteric areas of the game and, like you’ve pointed out in your post, it’s a heckuva lot more fun to play with others.

The Remnants of Hope is based on Tarnish Coast and offers PvX, RP, and WvW while maintaining a fun and social atmosphere in ts3 and guild chat. We don’t really have a mold for you to try and fit to. The biggest asset in the guild is the community. We have several different aspects that you can play in or just hang out with us in guild chat and/or ts3 and do nothing. Whatever makes the time that you have to game the best!

We welcome all levels/classes/play styles/ etc. If you like to have fun and want a good guild to hang out with and play with then we are it!
