Hello, I’m trying to find a guild that suits me both as far as what I do in game and someplace I can fit in socially and not be a pariah.

I’m not exactly a chatter box, I don’t talk a whole lot unless someone is talking right to me, but the guild I’m in now has a tendency to ignore members that aren’t in their “in” group (they’re like a godkitten high school that’s on the internet), leading to extreme frustration when I call out for invites to guild missions, spvp, wvw, dungeons, whatever it is, and getting ignored constantly.

I do everything this game has to offer; I love to spvp, I do WvW when I actually get an invite to a guild group, love running dungeons. General PvE is a blast with friends.

What I’m mainly looking for is an active guild that does a bit of everything, and perhaps does Guild missions weekly on a set schedule.

I main warrior. Been working on leveling an ele and guard for a long time, but they aren’t 80 yet.

I am also willing to move to whichever server you are on.

About us:
NooBs is an established guild on Sorrow’s Furnace whose founders originated in Guild Wars 1 and have been around since beta and launch.

Our main goal is to relax and have fun with the game, not create a second job for people. Therefore, the guild is easy going and we welcome players of all skill levels, experience, and time spent in game. We have no explicit age requirements, rules, or lengthy application processes. That being said, if you are not comfortable with either a guild that likes course humor or hearing a couple curse words here and there, we may not be the best fit for you.

»Currently 160+ members and growing, most of our members are on evening and weekends, but we do have a small daytime presence as well. We work hard to help our members meet and exceed their in-game goals.

»Dungeon Crawling: We have people able to run any type of dungeon (fotm up to lvl 30) including the typical speed runs and don’t mind teaching new members. We actively track dungeon progression and try to get our members their “Dungeon Master” achievement.

»Active Mumble: Speaking is NOT required but always encouraged as much as possible. Not only is this helpful in most group situations but it also allows you to connect with your guild mates beyond the occasionally desolate guild chat.

»Events & Activities: Active world boss participation, living story event participation, guild bonuses/banners, guild events, giveaways, and activities.

»Guild missions: We run guild bounties, treks, rushes, challenges, and puzzles so that our members may enjoy the benefits of guild commendations.

»Experienced leaders: Our leaders and officers are veteran Guild Wars players with multiple max level characters of all races and classes able to answer questions and offer assistance.

»Online Community: Website updated frequently to keep members current with events, forums discussions, Facebook Group, and many useful resources to enhance in-game experiences.

What we expect from you:
»Representation: We do NOT require 100% representation at this time, but we do ask and encourage people to represent as much as possible and join in guild events and groups. Don’t make us be your over attached girlfriend constantly pestering you with PMs to come hang out with us.

»Activity: Be active and be part of the guild! We do NOT require a specific amount of activity per week or demand your constant attention, but we don’t need members as placeholder. Please make an effort to be part of the guild and join in groups.

»Resources: Utilize your resources. Our website is the best place to keep up on events and discussions. We know not everyone is super talkative, but we want members to interact, guild chat and Mumble provides you that service.

The Remnants of Hope is based on Tarnished Coast and offers PvX, RP, and WvW while maintaining a fun and social atmosphere in ts3 and guild chat. We don’t really have a mold for you to try and fit to. The biggest asset in the guild is the community. We have several different aspects that you can play in or just hang out with us in guild chat and/or ts3 and do nothing. Whatever makes the time that you have to game the best! We welcome all levels/classes/play styles/ etc. If you like to have fun and want a good guild to hang out with and play with then we are it!

While I’m not sure if our age restriction would be problematic for you, I believe you would feel quite at home in our guild.

Just us Grown ups [JUGs] is a friendly, easy-going and drama-free guild which caters to the older gamer.

We have over 200 members on the Jade Quarry server. We have Teamspeak3, a fully upgraded guild, and a feature-rich website.

Our guild is comprised mostly of players who are over 30 years old but is also open to slightly younger gamers (25 years old is the minimum age), provided that they are friendly, easy to get along with, and would enjoy the low-key atmosphere of a more mature guild.

We have a fairly even balance of both men and women—actually, I think the men are outnumbered—and quite a few husband and wife teams as well.

Our members usually get together for WvW havok-squad, dungeon, and farming runs; Whichever activity you’d like to do, it shouldn’t be hard to find guild-mates to run along with you. Our website makes it easy to organize events of your own.

We are a guild that runs on the voice and opinions of our members. How the guild progresses is decided by you.

Our guild is suitable for both veteran and non-veteran players and we have members with much experience who are willing to share their knowledge with those who might need help or advice with the game.

We do ask that you only represent our guild while you’re a member, but we won’t get uptight if every once in a while you pop into a friend’s or a novelty guild (eg. R.A.T.S).

I think I might have what you’re looking for. My guild is called The Gryphons Aerie and we’re a smallish (approx 65 members), casual yet social, 18+ PvE/RP family on Tarnished Coast. Knowledge of and/ or participation in RP is not required. We’ll teach you if you want to learn, but there’s no pressure. Some of our members also enjoy WvsW/sPvP and we do have our own arena. We also have a variety of member-hosted events that change every week.

We know that RL comes first and stress that fact. We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time.

We are focused on providing a place where people can feel comfortable and as though they are more than just a name on the roster. We want everyone to feel like family. We’re willing to help out with any and all questions as best as we can.

Don’t worry about trying to transfer right away or even at all if you’re not on Tarnished Coast (unless you’re on an EU server, then it gets complicated). Feel free to guest with us as long as you want. You’ll still be able to join with us for dungeons and even Fractals (which I will be more than happy to teach). We don’t do the “speed runs”, exploits, etc either. If you decide you want to transfer, we’ll help you get the funds you need to do so.

There is also no requirement to be representing us at all times. It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us some time too.

We also have a TeamSpeak 3, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis. Most of our chatter is on the guild channel.

I understand you’ve posted this 2 days ago and have probably already joined one of the guilds above me but i’ll go ahead and try my luck.

[Bike] is a dungeon / fractal focused guild on Aurora Glade EU with interests in WvW and PvP as well.

Overall you could possibly say our focus is playing together.

One thing to note, we are pretty hardcore when it comes to pve (compared to your average pug) and strive on doing things as efficient as possible while improving not only our skills together but also our bond. That being said, we do not approve of condition focusing in PvE. Not that we do not respect conditions as we understand its importance in pvp.

We do just about every dungeon just about every day as well fractals. Sometimes we pvp and wvw together and then we have our weekly guild missions and events such as our guild lotto.

One thing to note is that we are not a big guild nor do we plan on becoming one. We currently have about 40 members and people do get kicked when not living up to our expectations.

Do not think we are rude elitists though. That’s one reason why we like to keep it small. We strive to create a small community of friends who love (no homo) and support each other, enjoy one another’s company and provides you with a foundation to improve your abilities.
