Guild Wars 2

Title sounds depressing, but it’s the harsh truth! ):

I’m a PvE-orientated person, so I’m hoping to join a guild with members that enjoy doing events. By that, I don’t mean just waiting for World bosses, but a group of people who would do chain events like the long ones at Harathi, Temples at Orr, Southsun etc. That saying, I don’t mind trying out WvW – I’ve only been there once, and all I did was follow the crowd… (I’m pretty sure that’s not how I’m supposed to play the game.)

I’m still very new to the game (less than a month and only one level80), so it’d be great if I can make a few friends who won’t mind endless list of newbie questions, exploring maps and leveling new characters – it’s very boring and lonely to go roaming Tyria alone ):

I play on Borlis Pass but can guest, and I don’t mind using voicechat programs (not much of a talker because I’m shy, not arrogant!).

Hello Miomio,

We enjoy doing a variety of activities. I share your views on WvW and we often run in a small group. Most of the time if someone wants to do something they just announce their desires and others jump in. I think you may enjoy our guild so I invite you review our community. Instead of giving some TL:DR article, I have provided some key points below.

Our Community

• Stormbluff Isles – We are active on SBI, but allow guesting. Don’t forget you can delete all your chars for a free transfer.
• Mature – We screen our applicants. Our ages range from 18 – 60. We are not religious & you may hear some cursing.
• Active – Recruiting all time zones. We have 50+ members. Most active around 10PM+- EST.
• Website – Our site is hosted by Enjin, paid for a year. Active forums.
• Helpful – Useful and easy to navigate information on our site. Enjoy answering questions.
• Voice Comms – We use Mumble & Enjin chat via Overwolf overlay to communicate across multiple games.
• Live Streamers – We support Twitch. Our streamers often do giveaways.
• Newbie Friendly – We are very helpful and welcome new players.

In-Game Activity

• WvW – Weekly WvW night.
• sPvP – Currently putting together a tPvP team, will soon have a custom arena. Regular meetings twice a week.
• Leveling – We often team up with and help our lower levels.
• Dungeons – Eager to run Dungeons.
• Fractals – Same as above. Our most active runners are at level 3-5.
• World Bosses – We often report active bosses and kill most of them on a nightly basis.
• Missions – Actively unlocking missions.
• Representing – We do not require 100% representation, but atleast 75+-%.

If you are willing to server transfer – you should check out Legends of Atari! We are a small guild and have roughly 8-15 people on and active every evening. We have a website and teamspeak. We are helpful – and when you say something in Guild Chat there will be a response.

Our guild has a strong PVE focus – and will occasionally run WVW events as we have a fair number of members that enjoy WVW as well.
