Guild Wars 2

Any WvW guilds out there in the mid tiers that cater to older players who just want to play without guild drama and without crazy TeamSpeak chatter? Much of our open and guild Teamspeak chat is mind numbing with all the sound effects, constant bragging and general yammer. Even the quieter guilds seem to be in some sort of server guild drama or in-fighting. Surely there is a place for old(er) players that just want to play without a headache. Would be great if they are on BP but that isn’t a deal killer.

I heard YB has a fairly large older community, someone else will have to confirm that though.

YB has both us and the Old Timers Guild, both of which are large and for the over 25 folk. Both are large and active in WvW but neither are what you might call a WvW guild.

But, im also in my 40s and do not find it to be upsetting to our play, and the reason for that is that we don’t overpower the commander. We clear chat when its “For serious time”. I personally have gotten a bit over-zelous with chat here and there when a plan comes together, so I cant say theres no bragging. If you find a TS that is robotic in nature, frankly, I think you found a server that is going to have no community and will never win.

Now, that’s bronze league but TBH I cannot for the life of me understand why someone would want to play with ques when they can join a server with no ques, a fun community, and 24/7 PVE.

Don’t think I want to drop below T6. I left a T7 server and found that a T4-T5 is where I am happiest. I would certainly consider T3 or T6 but not a huge fan of T1/T2 crowds at peak or the emptiness of T7/T8 in off peak hours.
