Guild Wars 2

I’m a level 80 revenant, but I used the boost to level 80 due to the fact that I have the DLC, heart of thorns or something. I would like somebody to play with, and to teach me how to properly play the game. I do not know most of the basic stuff, like builds and what most of the functions in the game mean and do. Anyone up for this?

You can post in the Players Helping Players sub-forum and list your Data Center (NA or EU), and when you are most likely to be online to find others to play with.

Alternatively, you can peruse the Looking For… sub-forum for a Guild to join.

You may find the Wiki (link above) helpful, as well.

Personally, I would suggest you create another character and level it naturally; the level-up tips and information would be instructive, and ease you into the game.

Using a boost as a newbie is a rash, dumb mistake. You’ll be overwhelmed. Your funeral buddy.

Still, you will have a much easier time if you, at least, play in the Starter Zones first, and work your way through each successive leveled maps.

I don’t think that leaping into the endgame at the start of playing a MMO is the best idea. You miss out so much by doing that. I think you’d be better off either putting that char aside for a while and playing with a brand new char or sticking to the lower level maps for a while before trying out the harder expansion area.

I could likely help you out as much as I can. I have a character slot open, could make a new character to show you what I know, or use one of my 80’s to do same in the lower level areas.
