Guild Wars 2

Big and Beautiful Norns [BBN] is a relatively new guild looking for more people to get to know! We have been around since about September, but many of us have been playing since launch. We have 90+ members, and we are interested in recruiting more people who actually want to get to know us! (I only say it like that because we aren’t interested in people bouncing guild to guild trying to leach guild missions and playing by themselves the whole time).

We are still working on getting everything unlocked, but we are just about there (only a couple of guild missions to go). Our primary focus is on PVE and getting to know our members. This is a MMO, so we feel socializing with each other should be a big part of it! We have no requirements, and we don’t ask you to rep 100% of the time. We understand that people have personal guilds, and may have other interests, and we won’t hold that against you. There does, however, need to be at least 50% representation. If you are just a name sitting in our guild and none of us get to know you or play with you then there isn’t a point to you being here.

The Basics

USA Sanctum of Rall based guild: With the mega-server this isn’t super important, but if you do want to WvW with us, you’ll have to be on SoR.

Teamspeak 3: It’s important for us to get to know each other! Most people who join and never come on TS3 with us leave the guild thinking that we are a quiet guild. This isn’t the case! We just do most of our communication through teamspeak, so if you really want to get to know us, you’ll have to be willing to hop on and at least listen. If you don’t you may feel left out.

Fractals and Dungeons: We love doing fractals and dungeons. We don’t require you to run a certain build, or bring certain skills (but we will help you with your build if you ask). This is a relaxed, casual guild, and most things can be completed in a reasonable amount of time without having to run the meta. All we ask is that you listen in TS while we are doing these! We try to do dungeons and fractals as often as possible, and to keep things going smoothly, we at least need you in TS to listen if nothing else.

When are we on? Most of us are college students or work full-time. Our active times are by far in the evenings and on the weekends. (we have members from all USA time-zones, as well as a few Aussies). If you are active during the day, you may find our guild is a lonely place. I try and let all new members know this so that their expectations aren’t that we are a 24/7 guild. As much as I wish we were, we simply are not.

If you only have a few nights a week, or don’t want to be required to log a certain amount of hours then we may be the guild for you. This is an adult-only guild, and we often have colorful language or humor that isn’t necessarily “family friendly.” Oh, and I suppose I should mention, that despite our guild name, we do welcome all races! (yes, even Asurans).
