Big Crits started in 2010 as a web-based World of Warcraft reality series about real people conquering a virtual world. We thought it would be a cool idea to be able to let people see the people behind the characters though a web series. If you are interested in seeing some of the faces of Big Crits, we are currently rolling out season 5 and you can check it out at: http://www.youtube.com/bigcritsguild
Big Crits is a close group of past and present hardcore WoW raiders looking to expand our Guild Wars 2 roster for all manners of content (PvX).
We operate on Mumble and have absolutely no language restrictions. Dark humor is nothing short of required. If you can’t handle some old fashioned racist jokes and derogatory terms this is not the right guild for you.
If you find your language censored by your guild and feel the need for a change, Big Crits is a safe haven for like-minded individuals who understand that maliciousness resides in your tone and not the words you choose. We’re all gentleman kittens here, just keep it classy.
Generally we play late at night. We call Northern Shiverpeaks [US] our home.
Our standards are simple and consistent across all games, professions, specs, and players.
If you want to represent Big Crits you need to follow and uphold our 3 philosophies.
1) Play your profession well. In each applicant we look for like-minded players that can think fast and operate well under pressure.
2) Play well with others. You, as an applicant, must be able to get along with the other people you play with. That chemistry is very important for progression and new content.
3) Show your commitment to the guild. This is, simply put, just proving to us that you enjoy being here and that you want to be here. There is a difference between the things we say in Mumble and the image we project to the server community. If you want to be a part of Big Crits, you will be required to maintain a respectful air to those outside of the guild, whether you are currently repping or not.
There is no rep requirement in Big Crits, as we promote members branching out to multiple guilds. If you want to mercenary in for guild missions once a week that’s perfect for everyone. The only time you are required to rep is during guild events. There are no attendance requirements.
If you are not on Northern Shiverpeaks but are interested in transferring or guesting over to take part in our PvE events feel welcome to apply. If you’re looking for an entertaining graveyard shift this is the place to be, Guest in and check it out!
Big Crits is accepting all levels of experience. If you are interested in joining or have any questions feel free to contact me personally in-game at Laurent.8930 or on these forums.
We are in the process of adapting our WoW forums and application framework to allow it to work with Guild Wars 2 as well.
See you on the Peaks!
