Also looking for a world. Downloading the game now and looking for a world andd guild to get going with. No idea what class/race I will play or anything lol.

Any help would be apppreciated. I love playing all classes but I tend to like casters the most and stealth types. I play a lot in the evening pacific time.

Mature player and I want a guild where guildmembers try to group as much as possible. i want to do both PvP and PvE.

Hello Ziffin! Although we’re mostly SEA-based, The Progenitors [RI] from the Crystal Desert server would love to have you with us!

We’re a PvX guild, which means we do a little of everything, though we gravitate more towards this game’s brilliant World vs World gametype (large scale combat, siege battles).

We’re very group oriented, so for team-based content such as WvW we try our best to get everyone to work as a a single unit.

As for classes, if you like casters (as well as a plethora of options and skills) I’d suggest going for an Elementalist, you can switch between 4 different attunements/elements; fire for damage, water for heals/condition cleanse, etc. Roll Thief if you love stealth, or try out a Mesmer if you want the caster/stealth and misdirection archetype in a single class.

Serenity’s Edge [TRE] is a GMT +8 Sanctum of Rall guild that focuses on PvE with a little bit of wvw!

We are a fun and loving community that enjoys playing games together! Most of our player based are mostly from the SEA region, from Singapore and Malaysia, although we also have guildees from US and Europe. Not only do we have a sizable community in Guild Wars 2, we also have people playing other games such as Final Fantasy, Company of Heroes 2 and the upcoming Battlefield 4, etc! We are very happy to help out in dungeons, fractals or any living story content and to help each other get all those yummy achievements.

Hiya Ziffin! Hope your download is going super fast (or has finished already, even)! If you’re comfortable with a smaller guild (with active members), I think Ember Solace would be great. We’re on Tarnished Coast, and we’re a particularly newbie-friendly (one of our officers, Falunel, even created a terrific New Player Outreach thread). We do PvP and PvE (pretty much whatever our members want), and we have a very welcoming environment. The Free Armed Ronin of Tyria has been formed by Sto & Res; both of us long time gamers. We are from the US & UK respectively and met in another GW2 guild on Ferguson’s Crossing. After being there for some time we decided it was the right time to move on and set up a guild of our own that will (hopefully) appeal to many players out there who cannot find a guild that gives them all they want.

What type of guild are we?

A newly formed casual, mature guild.

What can you expect from us?

We know that real life comes first and with that in mind we are a casual guild, and will not expect any member to log in to a set schedule. Although if you join us we will expect you to represent us. Why? Because above all we want to develop a great spirit and community atmosphere. We believe this can only be accomplished if members take part. After all, you would not join a football team and then not take part in games with them!

We will look to accommodate all types of player – PvE, PvP, WvW, Dungeon & Fractal. How? We will be looking for leaders that enjoy these aspects of the game and will look to develop these members to lead in their area of skill & expertise. So if you enjoy PvP but PvE bores you we will have events for you, and the same with other areas of the game.

What do we expect from you?

Simple – to take part, be friendly to other members, represent us, and above all have fun and don’t take things seriously. After all, our tag is FART…

I have a small but growing guild on Darkhaven (with members on Desolation as well -contact Yukidaruma.3269). Warriors of United Darkness in a casual PvX guild, we’ve started doing Bounty Training and Dungeon Runs with more events coming as soon as possible. Core Gaming General Description-
Server- Jade Quarry
We are a PVX guild, which means we do a little of every thing form PVP to dungeons to WVW to Group Events. We are slightly new but we are progressing fast, with over 160+ members. We do prefer that our guildies come in team speak for Guild Missions,Dungeon runs, any hard content OR JUST TO HAVE FUN, but its not required if you know what to do. For our Core group of players who speed run dungeon and do structured PVP, Team speak is a must.
Dungeons- We speed run almost *ALL*dungeon parts including Arah and fractals lvl 10-60>. Although on a daily basis, your more likely to get the fast parts done.
Good dungeon runs are always nice and we are willing to help our members become better dungeon runners, even if they don’t know what they are doing !. Generally it takes about 3-5 runs before you understand the dungeon and game mechanics with us.
WVW (World Vs World)- We have WVW members, who enjoy zerging(following a commander) and who just have fun roaming and wrecking other people “PKing” in smaller groups. (Although we don’t focus on WVW, we still have our fun there).
*TPVP(Tournament) and PVP (Normal) *- We have a few members who do these from time to time, but this is more an organised event. I wouldn’t mind getting a few more members who like the PVP side of the game. We love this aspect, and PVP players are welcome in the guild.
I think a lot of people don’t appreciated GW2’s PVP. “I would like to do a In House(Guild) PVP every week, but I need more PVPers” – DemiGod
Sometimes we just goof off, because social fun in Lions Arch and the lols in the dungeons is what I love the guild for. The Guild Officers and admins are all veteran players who decided , let’s just make our own guild because of unforeseen circumstances <<— our previous guild went dead basically.
Other information-
100% representation would be appreciated, if you need to not represent, just let us know, and respond to our message or whisper when we ask you to represent. There are some times when our Guild Officers will message you because you are not representing.
We have VOIP-both Raid Call and Team Speak , but we mainly use Team Speak
We currently are working on getting all the Guild Missions. Our current status is Guild Race.
We would prefer more lvl 80’s members , but we don’t mind low LVL players either.

A bit about S T Y L E:
• Server: Jade Quarry – We are active only on JQ, but allow guesting. For a free transfer to JQ, you simply need to delete any characters you have created – so if you’re just starting out, head to Jade Quarry!
• Team: Our leadership team works hard to ensure that everyone in S T Y L E is enjoying what they want to enjoy in the game. We feel our job as leaders is to help facilitate your good time, and to lead by example.
• You: Can be anyone – new, experienced, young, old, and in-between. The (known) ages of our members range from college students to retirees. We don’t concentrate on age, only maturity. Conduct in guild chat is strictly monitored and enforced – no name calling, discrimination, or drama.
• Life + Laughter: We refuse to be ultra-serious, and we always keep in mind that Real Life comes first. As such, the guild has no requirements for representing (although not repping does affect your rank), TeamSpeak/Website use, participation in events, or other restrictions.
• Experience/Skill Level: S T Y L E does have a special place in its black, black heart for players that are new to GW2 or to MMOs in general. We do not believe in ‘noobs’, only players that haven’t had the same experiences as some who’ve been around longer. We are very happy to guide, party with, provide info to, and nurture new players. Or for that matter, experienced players who need guidance with a new/different aspect of this multi-faceted game.

• Who: We have 80+ members. Most active around 3PM+- EST, but members can be found online at almost all times. We are very active in guild chat and in our TeamSpeak server.
• Activities: Structured guild activities are always evolving, and we currently host Tues/Thurs Dungeon nights; Wednesday Jumping Puzzle or Mini-Dungeon events; Guild Lottery, and Guild Missions on Sunday nights. Ad-hoc parties constantly form of S T Y L E members helping each other to complete personal stories, map completion, or other events.
