There are a lot of guilds advertising in-game, and there is a forum here “Looking For…” that you can check out. You can join up to five at once to see if they fit.

Reddit prolly has guild resources, and Google would undoubtedly turn up other GW2 guild sites.

Welcome back to Tyria! That is quite amazing that you got your wife hooked, please give me pointers lol. Anywho, I represent Tyrs Paladium, a multi game online community that has a long standing established guild wars 2 chapter. Please consider Blissful Epidemic [Blis] on Gate of Madness in your search for a new guild.

We are a stable and thriving PvX/WvW guild, currently at about 150 players. As we require 100% representation, our guild is actively engaged and willing to help each other out with anything and everything. We can offer all the amenities of a PvE guild, but can also provide you with a hardcore WvW raiding experience, running an average of 15-20 during WvW raids.

Still, our PvE and PvP experience should be enough to keep you engaged. We devote a single night a week to Raiding, another night for Guild Missions, and have a fully upgraded guild hall, Teamspeak Channel, fully stocked website and sub-forum on the Gate of Madness Server Website.

Our guild has now accumulated some of the finest players in Gate of Madness – former leaders, officers, drivers and WvW’ers who have played and enjoyed the game for years.

We’d love to add you and your wife to the guild family.

Too much work involved. The wife and I are online to “play”, not fill out applications, do interviews, and answer 200 questions…. unless you’re willing to give us salaries?

We DO understand that many people take gaming more seriously than actual reality, but we’re not those people. We do not want to be just another number in your roster either. I’ve been playing on/off since 2012, and have yet to do the story mode to any of the dungeons. As most want you to run, and catch up.

We want to enjoy the game as well as participate. I guess this wasn’t a good idea.

Your trepidations are understandable. We only ask the application be filled out to better understand the type of player we are bringing into our community, to be able to know player interests, experience and, of course, to make sure we would be a good fit. That application what helps to drive us to make sure you are not just a number.

However, I can also, understand not wanting to waste precious online time with such actions. I was not thrilled with having to fill out an application when I joined, but I have learned that the few minutes made a difference in finding the right home.
