Guild overview

BAD is a casual PvX guild based on EU Megaservers with a WvW base on Aurora Glade. We’re largely PvE focused with members who also enjoy sPvP or WvW (sometimes both!). We have regularly scheduled events including missions, WvW evening and dungeon/fractal runs.

What are we looking for

We’re open to players of all experience levels who are looking for a fun and quirky place to socialise, learn, teach and experience the game.

Thank you for the PM, it wouldn’t let me reply, it came up with a message saying I have to wait 2 days to send a PM.
I like the sound of your guild and would definitely be interested in joining.
I will not be able to play until tomorrow after work, I can play at around 6.45PM I will most likely need to do some GW2 updates though.
As I wrote in my post I will be starting a character from Level 1!
I will be sure to join the AG server as well.

Ah that’s because you already have a home server. When you select a home world that’s where all of your characters are created. If you just want to PvE and sPvP with us it’s not an issue as the megaserver system lets people from any server play together. For WvW you do need to be on the same home server.

Good questions. We’re not a big guild (hence the recruiting. I’d like to be medium(ish)) so I’d say on normal weeks around 20 (+/-5?) people log in at least 1/week. Holiday periods (like at the moment) do see a slight decline in activity.

Monday from 7pm UK time is missions.

Wednesday from 7pm UK time is WvW.

Friday from 7pm UK time is Fractals.

We like to try and do dungeons across weekends (or on non-event days).

I’ve been playing since launch on Aurora Glade. Quite a casual player, since I get a lot of lag and I haven’t got much free time these days. Looking for a new guild because my guild doesn’t really chat much anymore, which is a shame!

I’m online for a couple hours a few times a week, mostly in the early afternoon EU time. I play from Japan (hence lag).

Anyway, I’ll contact you in-game (unless you contact me first!)

Hi Chaps

I have recently started playing GW2, should be L80 today, and am looking for a guild.

I am a mature player, at least physiologically, my wife has other views on my emotional and psychological maturity

I enjoy PvE, PVP inc WvW and would like to try the new raids when they arrive.

I have played many other MMOs although LoTRO is my first love.

If I sound like a fit for you let me how to join, I am still very new to the game and learning the mechanics.
