Guild Wars 2

I know this question has been brought up a lot, but all the answers I am looking into are usually 1 or 2 years old.

I am new to the game so I will definitely need to learn alongside people. I am interested in a social (chat that never stops is always fun,) english speaking and active server.

Personally I’m not crazy about wvw event, more into pvp and pve stuff, so any recommendations would be very much appreciated

Hey! With the new megaserver system, all EU maps can play together no matter on which server you are based. It is only for WvW that your server really matters, but since you’re not too interested in that you can pick whichever you like. I’d say Desolation, because it is a very active PvE server, but I’m probably biased cause I’m on it

And if we count in WvW ? I’m a new player and I do want to try it out, and would rather get on a server that can at least compete xD

1. Seafarer’s Rest (always wins)
2. Desolation, Far Shiverpeaks, Gandara, Piken Square – all big good PvE servers that do well in WvW and are high population

I’d suggest look anywhere from a T3 to T5 server, they got players active in WvW and you don’t have to wait in a queue most of the time.

I’m unfamilliar what server has which advantage or playstyle, though I do know that my server has Open mic sessions etc (Though every server most likely has a TeamSpeak and players willing to help you)

I play on server called Ring of Fire and I must say I do like it there.
