Guild Wars 2

Introduction:
TRLS is a Guild War’s 2 based guild that provides a home for Singaporean players to enjoy the game together. The Guild is casual in regimentation but strict in enjoyment.

Leadership
In most Guilds, Leadership is hierarchical and enforced through a staff structure.
In TRLS, there is a Council that directs and leads the guild into having fun.
Council members have the in-game authority to manage guild matters for administrative purposes and the freedom to engage guild events.

There is however no rudimentary selection process nor “Friends only” biases as every dedicated player has the opportunity to be invited into the Council. There is neither cap nor ladder to climb in order to reach this position.
Being in the Council does come with certain commitments and thus it is understandable that not everyone wants, or have the time to be committed into organizational matters of the Guild.

TRLS recognizes Players who have been active but just unable to commit in terms of time to be in the Council. These players are placed in the advisory board and are considered Veterans of the guild.

Both the Council and Advisory work together to discuss matters on equal grounds before important decisions are made. Members are of course welcomed to join in any discussions as TRLS maintains an open door policy.

Interests
TRLS does not have an area of focus in game as it is first and foremost a Singaporean community.
Rather then setting an area of focus that might restrict players’ interest, TRLS hopes to engage members to explore their own interest and grow with TRLS in that area too.

For example, our SPVP team was formed by a few members who are engaged actively in competitive play and this has rubbed off other members who wanted to try out.

We have WVW raids, SPVP tournaments and PVE content. Content is created and done together on demand and not by enforcement.

Recruitment

1. TRLS maintains a Singaporean only recruitment policy.
2. Recruitment is mostly done through word of mouth and through interpersonal
   recommendations.
