Hello,

My name is Nyx Guild leader of CNB along with Sano. [CNB] Chuck Norris is Back has been on Kaineng since game start. We have been through the good and bad of this server. We tried to do everything we could to help our server, it has come to the time where we have nothing left to give. I have lost members to other servers because of my own personal server loyalty. I now have to take what my whole guild wants and go with it. [CNB] is a WvW only guild. We have 100 members with 40+ running in WvW at peak time. Weekdays we drop to 30. We enjoy GvG’s, defending, taking, and open field combat. We always show up for WvW regardless of the match-up. We are LF a server we can be loyal too. We want a server that is relatively stable. We understand WvW will fluctuate but we want some sort of stability. I would be interested in setting up meetings with any server leader type. We will be doing our research on any servers we are interested in. Feel free to post below a short summery of your server, who I can contact and any other details. Thanks so much!

EDIT: We are mainly a late NA guild with a few oceaniac players. We have a mandatory raid time within our guild for 5pm pst – 10pm pst, our members are still typically in WvW outside of those times. We like to be on a server TS coordinating with other guilds.

I too understand what you feel with server loyalty, SoS went through the exact same thing and we came back stronger guilds like Fang, TS, SoV, Envy toughed it out on SoS through the implosion and we’re all happy because what came out the other end was a very stable very community focused server. We have also had new arrivals and new guilds emerge from the ashes such as BANE, CB+AoA, BEAR, Lion, GoTM and many more which are playing integral parts into the community.

We have a active server teamspeak and run weekly meetings which are open to everyone, unlike many of the t1 servers we won’t tell you how to run your guild.

What you will find in SoS is likeminded loyalists, fun community events like karoaki nights, a relaxed enviroment, no ego’s, very little server drama, guilds and commanders who are dedicated to the server.

You can check out our recruitment message which brilliantly describes what we’re all about we can organize a meeting with you and some of the NA leaders sadly i’m very busy with Uni this week.

I should also mention GvG’s, although listed first is not our main priority. We enjoy open field combat/defending/taking defended places more. (: We just really seek solid WvW community and solid WvW guilds we can coordinate with, like we once did with our beloved BMS.

come to IoJ, we just xfered there and was probably best spent 1000 gems ever

the server puts a lot of effort to support wvw guilds and commanders (buying tags for commanders, coaching them , donating for superior sieges etc.)
everyone is very positive and supportive here

good at keeping their BL clean
commander meetings every week
relative short queue times after reset and almost no queue times during the week

I remember CNB from kain before the rise from tier 8. Always liked you guys way back then. My 2 pence is look at SoS. Cant comment on IoJ as i cant remember the last time i played against em.

We’ve had our fluctuations also but I think compared to so many other servers, we’ve been very stable. I understand about server loyalty and that warring with what is best to keep the guild together.

Take a look at Yak’s. We’ve always respected your guild and I think you would be a good fit. Our server voip is TS.

I would say send out scouts to the servers you are most interested in. I’m not going to try and sell you on IOJ but please do keep us in mind. What I will say is that since transferring off DH I feel like it has brought new life into [SE] yesterday at reset we pretty much queued a map our self I haven’t seen that many rally for reset in a long time or ever plus our numbers are even up during the week. Wish you guys the best of luck finding your new home where ever you end up that server will be very lucky to have you.

IoJ would be a good choice if you’re looking for a decent server for silver leagues. We too have a good oceanic coverage and lots of organized guild around working together with pugs and guilds.

The community here is very friendly and we would love to have a loyal wvw guild join us

I transferred off of IoJ for WvW with a few guildies of mine to YB. I cannot recommend this server enough for some hardcore WvW.

- Very mature environment
- No WvW drama, very clean community
- Pugs know what they are doing and can defend a fortification and hold it for quiet some time
- TS3 Server for cooperation
- Server Forums – ybbl.enjin.com
- Sharing of builds and set up for different types of playing – zerging/havok/single roaming
- Very helpful PVE community
- Oceanics can hold their own against a more populated server

YB values quality over quantity and our organized guilds have rolled over zergs 2-3x larger than ours. Our commanders know what they are doing and have extensive experience from fighting in T3 earlier this year and some are transfers from T1 based WvW guilds. As I’m sure you know from your experiences fighting us, YB is very good at defense and offense. Our commanders know how to play open field and PPT. Good luck in your search. As a member of [One], this is my sole opinion and I’m sure a lot of Yaks will agree with this.

You pretty much answered it yourself. I run with TEST for PvE because it’s a reddit-based guild and do WvW with [One] on YB. I NEVER said I would NOT recommend IoJ, but seeing that I am on YB for WvW, I am gonna vouch for them. Now if this is your attempt at character assassination, it’s pretty pathetic and shows how LITTLE IoJ has improved in terms of respecting former members and commanders. I know for a fact that former YB folks who frequent the YB forums are still welcomed even tho they have moved on to higher tier servers.

FYI, make sure you know what the heck you are talking about. TEST is NOT a purely PVE guild. Most of our members just prefer to run with CORE. We also have roamers and Valco + Kron has been active on IoJ BL defending. Even Corin has made an attempt to get back into WvW. If you want to discount TEST participation in WvW, that’s fine, but that will only HURT your coverage.

Now since this thread isn’t about why I left IoJ, I’ll leave it at that. Let’s let CNB decide.

Check out IoJ we are definitely on the rise in WvW we have a good Oceanic presence, and getting stronger and stronger in our NA. We have great leadership and awesome guilds. IoJ will definitely feel like home to you if you choose us.

To make things clear, my only point was: dont disencourage people to go to a server. If you are seeing great things on your server, just show it to everyone.
I didnt mean to sound disrespectful in any ways, english is not my primary language and sometimes people can misunderstood me.
[TEST] is a great guild and I didnt mean to bash on anyone about wvw. Being a pve, pvp or wvw guild doesnt make anyone better. I really enjoy playing with [TEST].

Also thank you to the T1 servers whom have contacted me, at this time my guild has chosen not to go to a T1 server. We would rather not go back to skill lag and massive ques at this time. If anything changes I will let you all know!

I will say that I did put this out to some more official peeps on our server (Sorrow’s) because frankly y’all impressed me this week at reset.
I hope wherever you land it is someplace where can have more matchups with you. I always appreciate solid tactic guilds that make us work for it.

You guys might consider Maguuma. It has a very stable WvW community, but if you care more about PPT, then we might not be the server you’re looking for. I know you’re mainly NA, but any additional oceanics is a boon for us. They will always be outmanned with no shortage of fights.

We are pretty much open to any server. I have contacted all of my mails back. If we don’t have a meeting day set up please let me know a good day. All this week any time after 5pm pst will work for me. The confusion I’m dealing with is some of you server have multiple “representatives” contacting me >_< Perhaps talk with each other so poor Nyx doesn’t get confused <3 Prease.

On another note thank you to all of the kind words. Many of you we have enjoyed fighting and experienced such great respect from all of you! There are so many great servers, even the underdog ones. [CNB] is coming from one of the greatest servers, Kaineng. One day Kaineng will rise again and I really hope it does. Sadly [CNB] needs to move on and work on ourselves before we continue to take on repairing a server. We are so excited to find our new home. We have a few servers at the top of our list I wont say who yet as we have only spoken to one server officially over TS so far. I look forward to the rest of our up coming meetings!!!

Guess I’ll slip in a post for ET, since like no one recruits. So ET solid NA, Usually can have EB and our Bl filled on reset nights and lots of us stay up on weekends to provide the night coverage we lack. We could use a couple more guilds to push us up in ranking.
Anyways good luck wherever you go!!! You have my respect from that one Kain ET matchup when I kept on dueling your members and fighting your zergs at night

Seconded, while I too won’t go through the full sales pitch…I will say that I have played on a few servers: NSP, ET, SF, BG, and briefly on JQ. (Mainly in that order) While all were great, I always liked SF and in the end remained on SF. I did so because of the community we have, and the people that are true friends. One of the other reasons I always liked SF is that it is fairly stable, we do not get a ton of transfers and we do not lose a ton of people to transfers. So week to week we know what to expect, we know what we can count on, and we have known each other for quite some time.

It has helped us train the server, get more people into WvW, and retain more talented groups.

You should check out Far shiverpeaks on EU. They are a great server, that just need a few WvW guilds. They will help u transfer.

SF could use the numbers. We usually do decent for our size, but often find ourselves outnumbered. Plus you get all the rest of the week to see if we’re good enough for you!

Seeing as NSP looks like the only server down here with a large zerg guild left, I suggest you transfer there to minimize the stacking issue and imbalance created by large zerg guilds transferring to the same server. The stomp or be stomped matchups of late should be incentive. It’s not fun to be on either side and since Anet has no plans to mitigate that issue it is up to large guilds such as yourself to do so by not stacking onto the same servers.
Speaking of stacking, I recall a thread recently where Dragonbrand was asking people -not- to transfer to their server because of queue times and imbalanced matchups…
