Recruitment
[CORE] is looking for team-oriented and active WvW players that want to be apart of a friendly and competitive environment. We will take some newer WvW players, but we prefer for you to be plugged in to voice communications and know the generalities of WvW already.
We are especially looking for those that are willing to learn, actively communicate, and take initiative. We are also actively looking for those with strong leadership skills that know the complexities of WvW.
The professions we prefer are Warriors, Guardians, Elementalists, Necromancers, and Mesmers; however, a role can be found for you regardless of what profession(s) you have.
If you are interested in [CORE], you can contact us by replying on this thread, or by mailing / whispering the following people:

About Us
[CORE] considers itself to be a semi-hardcore WvW guild, and has a work hard / play hard environment. When it is crunch time, our main focus is on victory. When we’ve secured our success, we just might run around as quaggans and attempt to kill a legendary defender.
We are humble in our victories, and realize that enemy servers have players just like us – WvWers competing to be the best and have some fun. We do not approve trolling, and expect all of our members to at least be cordial. While losses can be demoralizing, we use them as learning experiences for next time.
At the moment, [CORE] is a medium-sized (100+) guild. Our specialty is zergbusting in guild raids, but we are in the process of organizing small teams for off hours as well as GvG. We are most active between 6 PM and 1 AM server time (pacific), but are always looking to expand our coverage. Our members are mostly North American, but our Oceanic presence is persistently growing.
The activities and services we offer are expanding rapidly. Right now, we offer the following:
- Daily WvW Guild Raids
- Guild website, forums, and calendar
- Voice communications
- Online and in-game WvW training
- Guild crafting service
- Superior and regular blueprints
- Funded commander tags if you prove yourself
- A friendly, fun, and competitive community
- And numerous loot bags
Expectations
To maintain our structure and ensure that all of our members are active team players, we expect a number of things from our players. These are the foundational rules for [CORE]:
- You must represent CORE in WvW.
- You must use voice communications in WvW.
- You must be respectful and cordial to allies and enemies alike
- You must be an active WvW player (at the very least 4 hours of WvW per week)
