My PvP team [NA] is looking for a really good thief for weekly tournaments. Must know rotations, class, communicate properly, and who has a high situational awareness. We’ll try you out throughout two weeks. If you wanna go eSports this is it.

There not better at what they’re looking for which is most likely +1ing fights and backcapping with thier speed.
Mesmer excels more in dueling, and even team fights and is second to thief when it comes to +1ing ( key to +1ing is having the speed and map awareness to get to the node currently in the team fight or knowing that ur team is winning the team fight and going to backcap)
So a mesmer would work out if they want a better team fighting comp and more damage but guessing they want a faster roamer if they requested thief.
I would do it but sadly i suck at d/p only good at s/d.( i know s/d is faster cuz of better swiftness up time but it doesn’t have the same survivbility as it use too and the damage is eh compared to d/p)
