Guild Wars 2

If you’re reading this then obviously you looking for a guild or really bored. With any luck you are the former. I would urge you to read to the bottom of the post then make up your mind. The things we list are in no particular order of importance. We are based in the states so evening time and weekend are usually most active for us.

What we are NOT:
1. Hardcore: Although we do play often we are not all into ourselves or being uber or other related term you chose to use. We play to have fun….isnt that kinda the point of a video game?

2. Gear, level or end game guru fascists: I can’t speak for others but I have run across guilds that want you to be max level, fully equipped and know everything there is to know about the game or you can’t join. We are defiantly NOT in this category.

3. Dictatorial: We will not force you to sign up for a website, use voice or mandate you be on at certain times. The guild name should clue you in to how we operate. All of us are working adults with lives outside of here so we completely endorse the notion that real life comes first…I know crazy concept.

4. ATMs or Free Lunch givers: No we will not give you money or free stuff. Chances are we are broke and under-geared ourselves. Let me put this in simpler terms we don’t like leeches and if one ends up guilded they won’t be for long.

5. Hand holders: We will not hold your hand through leveling. We expect that you be reasonably self-sufficient. This is not to say we won’t help you, but we have toons too and there are things we would like to accomplish as well.

6. Overly Hierarchical: Yes we have guild ranks, but that’s mainly just for permissions.

7. Big: We only have 2 members and that is because we look for quality people not quantity. I’D rather have a guild with one good person than 200 bad ones.

Ok enough of that….what we ARE:

2. Friendly
3. Helpful
4. Understanding
5. Accepting
6. Fun
7. Small

If all that didn’t turn you off here is our overly long and rigid set of rules:
1. No BS (cheating, exploiting, hacking, griefing etc.)
2. No Drama
3. My word is law

The first two are pretty self-explanatory. Let me explain the 3rd. While I am definitely not all arrogant and think I am somehow superior to anyone , guilds have issues that arise and while I do want and expect input, at the end of the day a decision must be made for the good of the guild. I retain the right to remove people and no one else.

Ok if by this point you are still not turned off and want to join here is what you do:
1. Send a message in game to me telum.1395 or darksappho.9354
2. One of us will accept you and you will be placed in a probationary status until such time we get a good feel that you are a good fit.
3. We do ask that you rep at least once a day, so we can increase our influence points.

In writing this post I forgot a couple of things. We are mainly PVE and WvW but a little PVP and RP are mixed in. We do have a vent server but its use isn’t mandatory.
