Where: Stormbluff Isle, but we love everyone

When: GMT -8 (Pacific Standard Time) USA, primarily in the evenings from 7:30-11pm

What: A small-ish, friendly and helpful guild of about 12 regular players (with another 15 alliance members – ask us about this!!), looking for more friendly, awesome people to play with. We are casual about representation, but we reward loyalty to our happy group.

Why: We love the game, why else? We love the social aspect of the game and everything is better with friends!! Also, we just unlocked guild missions so we are expanding our ranks to get those commendations!! Finally, we would love to have more members to complete end-game content as a unified group.

The small print: We are super casual friendly, all levels of player welcome. We are primarily 21+ (willing to modify this based on maturity – if you act like an adult, we can definitely respect that!!) Our guild chat can be adult in nature, and the occasional bad word or adult joke may appear, and we are okay with that. Maturity is important, but ranting and/or raving is most definitely allowed and sometimes encouraged. One thing that’s not tolerated at all: Hate-speech or discrimination at all, in the guild or out in the wide world of Tyria. Basically, just don’t be a jerk. If you cross the line, we will notify you only once.

We’re super helpful with all sorts of content, and we’re interested in growing our own in-game experience and influence. We have a guild bank, armorer, and missions, and we WANT YOU!!! We use Mumble for voice comm – not required but, if we’re doing group content, at least listening in is encouraged, and we would love to chat with you!! We have been having a great old time with the Bazaar of the Four Winds. The sky crystals were so fun!! In addition to that, some of us have been working on mastering all the jumping puzzles in the game, as well as finishing up those last few Points of Interest for world completion.

We would love to have some more members to play with!! We have created dedicated map completion nights, WvW nights, and guild buffs most weekends. Hopefully we’ll hear from you soon!!

Hey HGW, I’ll be online latish this evening (post 9 pm Atlantic time), so hopefully I see you online. If not, then another time.

As a form of introduction, I’m a married father of two girls (both who play GW2 but are officially too young ) and I have a wife who is very tolerant of my computer and board-gaming nerdishness.

I try to get online three or four nights a week, so I’m a pretty frequent player. Right now I’m focused on exploring the entire world, though I’m only up to 57% as of last night. I like tapping the daily events list to earn laurels, which I have been using to buy items, so anyone who likes to do that will have a friend in me. I haven’t done any dungeon crawling yet, owing to my lack of a steady group, but I would love to get into that, as it was one of the things I really enjoyed in GW1.

Anyway, more later when we meet in-game. (I hope!)

Hey there. I’m looking for a casual-friendly guild of people who don’t act like jerks. You seem promising!

Me: I’m a 28-year-old grad student. I’m in Arizona, so at least for half the year I’m on Pacific time — I usually play evenings, sometimes weekends.

The Good: I’d like to think I’m a fairly decent person… I like playing the game but don’t have anyone to play it with, and I’m not confident enough in my abilities to PUG dungeons. I can play solidly but I’m no OMG superwhiz.

The Bad: I’ve been playing a stupid spec (tanky-bomb-engineer…I know, I know, but I love it). Maybe with practice I’ll become a better dps-er. Or something. Also, I tend to play games in bursts of a month or so and then take a break, but that might also change if I have actual people to play with on a regular basis.

My Current Guild: Is great, but was always really small and now it’s more or less just me. So I’d like some friendly people. I’m currently on Crystal Desert but I don’t have any particular attachment to the server.

Give me a shout sometime if I sound about right! I’ll be on tonight and over the next few days.

Okay, Lyman up there has been an awesome addition to our guild. She is a great player, super helpful, and fun to chat with!!
