Cool Kidz Club [Club]

We are a meta speed clear guild that gets dungeons completed in an efficient manner but keeping fun in mind. Does that mean we do things in a slower manner? No, we just like to have a good time while using optimal group comps and strategies that have showed excellent results in keeping the team alive without compromising on dps. So berserker armor and weapons are expected.

We are based in Blackgate (NA) but members are on different servers in NA.
Repping is highly encouraged as we want to build a community not an LFG. So repping will be expected at least 80% of the time (especially for PvE. We’re not an LFG guild!), having WvW, PvP and personal guilds are fine, but we want to be able to talk to you without needing to whisper all the time.

What activities do we participate in: Dungeon tours, Fractals, Fun runs, Teaching runs.

Expectations:

• Be friendly & have a good attitude
• Knowledge of the intricacies of these dungeons
  AC: P1/2, CM:P1-3, TA: F/U, SE: P1/3, COF: P1 and Arah: P1/2/3/4.
• Competent in 30 Fractal with 5 man party
• Able to 3-man Arah
• Interest to up your gameplay for things like making the runs more efficient, competition, record runs, etc. will be seen in a very positive light.

Classes:
Have two of the following classes at 80 for your dungeon trial:
Elementalist & Guardian OR Ranger OR Mesmer OR Engineer.
All in Berserker/Assassins or mix of the two.

You’re welcome to use any one class stated above for your fractal trial.

Trials for thieves and warriors are closed for now.

Due to the current state of the meta, I’m willing to make an exception for those wanting to join and trial as Eles to do so with only just one class.

The problem with trialing as Mesmer is that we don’t normally run one in our regular tour except for very few instances like CoF. If you’re going to trial as one, you’re welcome to use Mesmer in CoF & Arah, but no more.

If you’re going to trial as a Guardian, Ranger or Engineer, I’m willing to change our more classic team comp a bit to see how you fare in the appropriate dungeons (currently, it’s very difficult for me to try and squeeze in Ranger or Engineer into CM so you’re going to have to use an Ele or Guardian to trial there).

Trial & Trial Period:
We’ll run with you before we send you an invite to see how you fare in a run. Then, we take you into regular dungeon tours.

Within 2 weeks, an officer will set up a 5-man level 30 fractal run and an Arah trio for your trial.

If you pass it and if you’re actively involved with the guild, then you’ll be promoted into the member rank.

Runes/Sigils:
Night/Force + Slaying (Undead for Arah and Justice for CM). You don’t need a separate slaying weapon, just stock up maybe 10 of both Undead Slaying and Justice if you’re running with us because these sigils are cheap.

We want you on Scholar’s. It’s acceptable to be on Strength Runes, Superior Rune of the Ranger, Superior Rune of Flame Legion.

Consumables:
We use food buffs for all dungeons, these are fairly cheap and can be bought for around 1s. Please stock up on them for each class you play on.

• Plates of Steak and Asparagus
• Hardened Sharpening Stones & Quality Maintenance Oil
• Relevant Powerful Potion of the Dungeon/Fractal stage
• Skale Venom

TS3:
We communicate during dungeons and other activities on Team Speak 3, it is required for all members but having a mic is not. Just be on to hear what the rest of the team is saying or joking about.

Ranks:
You will join as an initiate and when you pass your trial you will move on to a full member rank.

We are a bunch of good players that want to have a relaxed environment with others with a like mind of playing smarter, not harder but also wanting to joke about but not at the expense/frustration of others. Play with great people and have fun at the same time.

I have and regularly play pretty much all classes. Some are more enjoyable than others though.
