Guild Wars 2

As the title says, I’m looking for a few people ( maybe 4-5) who are interested in making a guild.

About me -

I’m 24 years old, married, 1 kid and one on the way.
I’ve been playing mmos since about 2006 give or take a year. My first MMO and most played was Knight Online.

Right now I am on the crystal desert server, but i intend to server change (soon™) Id prefer to be on one of the bottom tier servers, just a personal preference but im open to just about any server below tier 2.

I’m PvP rank 39 and WvW rank 78 currently.

I began playing the week it went free to play, and liked the game enough to prepurchase HoT like a week later.

Type of guild I’d want to create -

• Prefer to make a PvX guild, I realize these call for a decent amount of players. I’m fine with sticking to mainly 1-2 facets of the game for a while! I pretty much do everything the game provides.

• A guild where no one is going to get treated badly because they don’t under stand something, or because they’re new to the game

• I believe that almost any build/ weapon combination can be useful, so it would be a guild where being a build elitist wouldn’t fly, and people can play how they want to play. That being said Some builds are better for certain facets of the game, and i’d want members to be able to talk about builds without trashing someones idea.

• I’d prefer a medium sized guild, I’ve joined guild that advertised " 200+ members!" or " very active!" then after a week of being int he guild realized that the majority of the members ignore guild chat, or haven’t been online in months but are still sitting int he guild. I believe if you’re not going to be active within your guild then why be a member of it.

I think voice chat is very important for guild communication. I have a few different one sin mind but we can decide as a group what will work best.

I’m looking for members, but i’m also looking for leaders, people who want to help organize and runt he guild with me.

Disclaimer - YES, I know something like 98% of new guilds fail within a week. I know that they’re very hard to maintain. I’ve been trying to find a guild for upwards of 3 months with no luck. I’m too picky for a guild to fall into my criteria most of the time. So this is pretty much my only option.

We have a vision for what we want to do with the guild but we really just need people to help us build and shape our guild. We already set up some of the ground structure to help maintain the guild. We currently have a TeamSpeak server but I have been looking into Discord and it looks really cool. We also just put up a guild site and forums. For more info about our guild and our vision for what we want to do with it check out the guild info tab of our guild site.

We have a vision for what we want to do with the guild but we really just need people to help us build and shape our guild. We already set up some of the ground structure to help maintain the guild. Honestly the guild name / ranks / whole premise is a little um, much for my personal tastes.

Likewise the only way id join a group is if i get to help decide on a name name it, get to help be a part of making the website, get to help on the discussion of what voice chat to use, etc .I want to be a founding member, not just someone who joins right afterward.. I’m not interested at all in joining a guild that is already set up.

I’m Livingston from Ring of Fire’ server. I’m the co-founder of Keepers of Gaia [KoG], a small, social PvX Guild, 6 months old. We’ve 30+ casual members, we’ve a Forum, a new Facebook page and a TS3 channel, and we tend to do Missions on Sunday at 16 UTC (RoF is a EU server). Even if you’re looking for founders of a new guild, I’m searching for administrators for mine. We lack of organization due to my need to travel a lot and I’m struggling to give members the fun and the sense of sociality they need.
I don’t mind giving full permissions to members who are willing to cooperate and help me, so if the idea of running a Guild thrills you then feel free to contact me.
