Hello!

[DA] Decisive Actions is currently looking for players interested in organized WvW. We’d like players that are active and know how to work together as a team with a decent amount of experience in WvW. We run a really tight group and have a nice core group of players, but our active roster isn’t that large. It is not mandatory to attend all WvW events, but you should be active enough even for just an hour or two. We simply want players who are active that intend to give 100% out there during whatever amount of time they play for.

What We Ask Of You

• Use TS3! Mic is not required, but it will really help if you have one to use. We do require that you be logged in and listening to the leader.
• We have some specific builds / gear we run for optimal group synergy. We need your build to help the team, not a single roamer. If you need help with a build, ask! We’re more than happy to get you geared up and on you way to wins!
• When running in our WvW nights, you must play on your main. It’s not that we hate your alts, but we do need to have a general idea of our group makeup each time we run. When it’s not an event night, feel free to run alts/lowbies!
• You must rep DA while in WvW. We do not, however, care if you rep us outside of WvW. Obviously we want you to so you can join in on the fun, but we understand people have multiple guilds for various reasons. We simply need to be your core WvW guild!
• Be respectful to fellow guild mates, server mates, and enemies alike. Don’t dance on bodies and laugh if we win. Don’t yell at members when we lose. It’s easy to get caught up in the game, but don’t let that lead to bad attitudes. We want to play seriously while still having fun!

Note: If you’re looking for a WvW guild, but you just wanna keep it light, we have our fair share of WvW trolling, chilling, and just running around picking fights (see the YOLO series on our Youtube!). We’ll be more than happy to have you as well, but ideally we want more serious, active WvW players to help strengthen our group and lead us to victory!

Fun guild to run with! <3 DA! I always recommend people who seek advice which guild to join other than ATM to DA as ATM is a chinese speaking guild. I personally feel they will learn a lot of things from them (etc. self positioning) and most importantly they are a group of fun people!

Short story on how I knew DA: On one fine reset night, I was running solo in EB and I happened to find a new guild in JQ (DA). So I decided to run with them, immediately one of their group member (forgotten is it Zaff or Gg) invited me to join their TS. They welcome me as if I am one of their members! Ever since I have been running with them during NA time (when I am free), this shows how friendly they!

Beware, any charr looking to join DA! Wahii will follow you around, look up your skirt war-kilt pants, and try to barbeque the fur off your heiney. I didn’t think Asura could be furry fetishists, but there you go.

This seems like a good fit for me.

Usually being told what my build should be is a red flag, but I understand the need for it. I am always willing to tweak out a build, as long as the core idea/ function remains. As a well/staff Necro, that should not be an issue in WvW. In fact, I pretty much eat up new Necro info as fast as I can, and try out new build ideas frequently

My only concern is play times. I would hate to be on and have nobody to run with. The good news is: my necro practically lives in WvW land! So if I’m online, I’m in for grouping. I have a post in this forum listing my play times and such. If a recruiter wants to check it out, here is the link:

Hey Ragnar, I just looked your play times, and I think that be an issue for you :/.

Our bigger WvW groups (usually 10-15 people) start most days at 9PM Est. Before that, most people are still are work, so we’ll usually have only 1 or 2 people roaming around in WvW, and others doing SPvP.

As for builds, we don’t really tell people what build to run, we just say run something group oriented. But you’re free to theory-craft and work into your own builds as much as you want, and we’ll try to give some input (and be quite frank about it too, we’ll tell ya if it sucks :P). On the other hand, having people run 1v1 builds for WvW seems a waste of manpower, specially if it’s a squishy build that might end up doing more harm than good, so that’s the kinda stuff we “red flag”.

I’ll try to contact you in-game later anyway, but just wanted to give a response so you can start making your mind.

If anyone is wondering we usually field between 10-25 daily in WvW and our guild missions are on Monday at 7pm server time.

Bump still looking for experienced players of all classes! With our latest recruitment we are now able to field at least 15 daily.

I got so far behind on bumping and reading with IRL stuff going on… but aww, <3 you Illu! I know my spot in the guild. Recruiter and friendly hello.

We’re still looking for WvW players to come and join our ranks! If you know your class well but haven’t played WvW much before, don’t worry.
