Have you ever wondered what happens to a server when the going gets tough. You find out those committed to reviving her; to stand tall with those around unwavering in their commitment to face the darkness and emerge not only stronger but closer than ever.

Darkhaven is Home to many PvE, PvX, and WvW-centric guilds committed to building one of the friendliest communities of gamers in Guild Wars 2. We have a great community, being involved in charity events such as Pink Day in LA and MS Toga. Our leaders organize server events to ensure that our community remains tight-knit and we encourage cross-server communication both in map chat and TS3. We have a free community Team Speak server with Guild and WvW channels as well as official server

Community and WvW Facebook pages. We also offer free guild pages, guild forums and general forums on the official website at http://www.darkhaven.us/

Our short-term goal is to shore up and build upon our current population. Our long term goal is to be competitive in the WvW landscape in whatever tier we are in with a focus on moving back into T4. While other servers may stay away from the more active WvW Servers, we wish to push ahead into them. And we need your help.

We are currently recruiting scouts/casuals/roamers/havoc/WvW-centric guilds/pugmanders to our server!

Who are we looking for:

Pugmanders We lack dedicated pugmanders in all of our time zones. If you enjoy pugmanding we’d love to hear from you!

NA :We have a handful of competitive guilds in NA-prime however have room for many more! Early and late NA guilds would be welcome to join us as well!

OCE : We have no guild that run during OCE-prime. It is tough for us to stay competitive during this coverage.

SEA :We have a couple of SEA-prime guilds. An addition of 1-2 roaming or raiding guilds will allow us to better compete.

EU: We have a couple of small-sized WvW guilds. However, we lack raiding guilds. It is tough for us to stay competitive during this coverage.

Finally, in the interest of full disclosure:

• The Darkhaven Server is a server currently listed as full, but we are not full at all hours of the day. The best times to join are between 5AM to 11AM Server Time.

• We are in full status however WvW is not full. We have a large PvE/sPVP population that we are trying to pull into WvW.

• In 2Q2015 we had an exodus of guilds from WvW due to the draw of T3, our full status, a dwindling WvW population and a perceived lack of fights as the server dropped in tiers.

• To date we are NOT a toxic server. We have our share of trolls and naysayers however by and large the server population is respectful and wants to work together

• The general skill level on the server is around 6 on a scale of 10. I’ve seen a range from as low as 3 (squirrels off, little knowledge of WvW, no wvw build) to as high as 10 (fightmander/PPTmander and runs/organizes GVGs) however the median of the population seems to be around 6 (good wvw foundation, follows a tag, some wvw builds, needs to work on staying tight on tag, hesitates in fights, not always in TS3). I would give the overall rating on the server as “Casual” with the desire to be competitive.

• There is going to be work involved to bring the overall skill level up. However the overall population has demonstrated a willingness to learn.

• This is not a tier for the faint of heart. We are going to be challenged both in terms of players and as a team. If you like a challenge, if you want to fight for something larger than yourself, then this is the server for you.

So far we are having a great match with CD and HoD, come and join us.

Dh is an awesome server. Been here since launch. We’re going through a rough patch, a few fights guilds left once we realized we couldn’t sustain t3. But, that has not proven a fatal blow. We’ve only dropped one tier, and those of us who’ve stayed have proven ourselves loyal to Dh. If you come here, you’ll be joining a community-oriented server, one that is trying it’s best to be as competitive—in every regard—as it can.

Please, consider us! And know full status does not make it impossible to transfer. You can still transfer during ocx/eu sometimes when full status disappears.
