Deadly Betties is a softcore international guild. We have people from all walks of life and everyone is welcomed into our ranks regardless of gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, race, political view, or anything else that normally divides a society. The only requirement that we have is that no one under the age of 18 is allowed to join our guild. This is because we are not a guild of babysitters and we have no desire to guard our tongues to protect the virgin ears of children. We engage in highly inappropriate banter on a daily basis—-the type of banter that no parent would like their child to hear.
Deadly Betties is an unique guild comprised of incredibly remarkable people. This community is a melting pot of lovable trolls, endearing artists, amazing facerollers, and of course shenanigan inducing lawlers. Everyone within this community has a beaming personality that makes them a distinctive part of this guild and this guild would be nothing without them. Our people are understanding, reliable, and competent enough to get things done in game while still LOL’ing over comical failures.
While Deadly Betties strives to be known in the community for our hilarious banter, our generous members, and server wide events—-we want to be recognized most of all for our willingness to listen to our guild members. Too often do guild leaders ignore the ideas of their members, but here in Deadly Betties leadership strives to listen to ideas, develop those ideas, and implement them into the guild. Naturally not all ideas are able to come into fruition; however, leadership tries their very best.
Nothing is more important to the leadership then the happiness of our members. This is why we have guidelines rather than rules. Guidelines can be stretched to accommodate everyone; however, there are certain lines that cannot be crossed. We have zero tolerance for drama and general kittenbaggery. While our guidelines go more in-depth about what is expected, you can get by without reading these guidelines so long as you are able to practice common sense. Having common sense earns you endless leg hugs within the guild and makes all the people swoon.
Deadly Betties treats Guild Wars 2 like the party that it is and we will never treat it as though it is more important than life itself. Deadly Betties is not a hardcore guild. We are far from it and we discourage “hardcore” or “elitist” behavior in our community. Deadly Betties is about enjoying the world of Tyria and sticking our noses in everything including World vs World, Player vs Player, Player vs Environment, and Naked Bar Fights…especially Naked Bar Fights. Regardless of your play style you will find your place among this guild. We make it incredibly hard to be an outsider and we take pride in that fact.
This is just a small description of our community. There is so much more to our guild, to our members, and to our leadership—-but it would take a full novel to describe all our awesome to an outsider. It is simply easier to say, “Join us and find out for yourself what we have to offer.” Deadly Betties is a random, fun-loving, somewhat socially awkward community and we’re always looking to expand our family.
