Guild Wars 2

I’ve been trying to create a solid WvW guild for quite some time now, and its been moving reeeeaaally slow.. I’ve tried map chat spamming, mailing certain individuals, posting on forums.. pretty much anything i can think of.

If any of you are leaders of big guilds, preferably WvW ones. I want to ask if you have any tips on how to create a successful guild and how you done it yourself. It’d really help.

Note that i don’t want it to be some random pug guild and invite pretty much anyone i see, i want to create a strong WvW guild with people who represent, use teamspeak/website (both are setup already) and are active and willing to have a tight coordinated community who they can play with.

Its really hard in BP from what i’ve seen because most people are already apart of big guilds etc, but if any of you do have tips, let me know please <3 .

Lost of First Mover Advantage.
As a late guild, you already lost that advantage thus it make it even harder to grow due to the limited amount of players you can recruit from. Plus, all supposed hardcore players already part of a guild thus the difficulty for late guild to progress is extremely high.

Niche Market
You have chosen a niche market to target in, the number of WvW-focused players are extremely limited

Not the game’s focus
The game is not focus in wvw but PvE thus this further tell you how much WvW-focused players are really there.

You are now in a 5 star difficulty guild building tycoon. I personally would suggest you in gaining fame through leading general pug and through this reputation as a commander, attempt to recruit players into your guild. Of course, you can learn from some guilds by giving out false promises and brainwash others to join them.

Whatever you choose, do note that if you choose to use the evil approach, you may offend other guilds and your only option is to transfer out.
