Guild Wars 2

I am an experienced MMO player and started playing GW2 about a month ago. Since then, I have been leveling three characters: guardian (62) , necromancer (44), and engineer (37). I have found I enjoy the leveling process quite a bit as well as WvW but have not attempted sPvP or dungeons yet. Now that I’ve become comfortable with the basics of the game on my own, I’m interested in looking for a guild.

I am more interested in smaller guilds that are in to all aspects of the game. Larger guilds are okay, but I’m more interested in a family type atmosphere than just being a number to add to a roster. I am 27 so, I am looking for a somewhat older guild group. I don’t mind language nor am I easily offended. I have no qualms about requirements to join/participate in voice chat.

While I do play most days, my out of game schedule is crazy which sometimes leaves me to play very early morning (I go by Eastern Time) instead of at night or prime time. I would love to grow with a guild and be able to call it home for as long as I can. I love Dragonbrand and its WvW/community so, I would prefer to stay there.

I cannot promise 100% representation as I will be leaving one character to represent my own guild for vault space (I’m a pack rat when it comes to crafting supplies/parts.)

In summary, I like PvE/WvW and I’m an altoholic that is still deciding on a main but I would like to start playing with other people to get the whole experience.

Still seeking guild with which to finish out my leveling and learn the ropes of dungeons (and fractals when I get there). Though I do like Dragonbrand, I am willing to consider transferring if needed after spending some time guesting on another world.

Hiya! My main is an engineer, and I really love the profession. Do you have a fav yet between the three you’ve been working on? Since you said you’re interested in a guild that does all aspects, I thought you might consider Remnants of Hope. We’re a small-ish (15-20 actives) guild on Tarnished Coast (I know you’d prefer not to transfer, but just in case I thought I’d reply). =) The link above has all of our recruitment information, but to answer what you’re looking for: We do dungeons, explorations, leveling parties, jumping puzzles, WvW/PvP, and RP. We definitely have a tight-knit community that comes from people genuinely caring about each other. While we have members from many different age groups, most players are close in age to you (and many, like myself, are older). We completely understand “real life” coming up and have a section on the forums called Leave of Absence where people can post if they’re going to be gone for awhile. (Also, TC is currently ranked 4th of all NA servers in WvW, so hopefully our server would be able to fulfill that for you.) We do require 100% rep, but we make an exception for bank alts.

If we sound like a good possibility, you can feel free to put in an application on our forums. And whatever you end up deciding, I hope you find the guild family you’re seeking. =)

Currently, I think I favor the engineer the most. The guardian is pretty close but he doesn’t have grenades or a flamethrower.

Tarnished Coast is one of the worlds I have been hearing a lot about and will guest over there tomorrow to get a better feel for it. I like the information I’ve read about Remnants of Hope and perhaps I will be in contact soon. Thanks!

[UM] on FA is a tight knit PvX guild (~25 core members, 65 members) where we definitely care about one another and interact daily through TS3 and guild chat. We PvE ~50% WvW 40% and sPvP 10%. We do require 100% rep for everything except personal guild banks so that would not be a problem at all! Hopefully we are what you are looking for as we’d love to have you join us

• Dungeons – Some dungeon running, activity will increase as we recruiting new members and our low levels reach 80.
• Fractals – Same as above. Our most active runners are at level 3-5.
• World Bosses – We often report active bosses and kill most of them on a nightly basis.
• Representing – We do not require 100% representation, but atleast 75+-%.
