Note, we are a large PvX guild that is active in WvW as well as all other aspects of the game. We have an active WvW player base, but not all of our members participate.

Currently we are looking to expand our WvW activities and seek players of all nationalities and time zones.

• We generally field between 25 and 35 players on reset nights. We also run together Monday and Thursday evenings (NA prime) and former smaller havoc squads during other times of the day.

• Our guild is international, with most members being from either the NA, EU, or Oceanic region. We would greatly like include more of our EU and Oceanic/SEA player base in Wuv and begin setting more raid times for these time zones.

• We aren’t really concerned with skill level so long as our members are willing to learn and work well as part of a team. We are more than happy to train the right people.

• We run balanced team compositions and give equal focus to PPT and open field combat.

• The general guild atmosphere is very relaxed and easy-going. We like to have fun and laugh at our own stupid jokes and aren’t going to yell at anyone for making a mistake. At the same time, we play with the goal of excelling at what we do and work towards achieving that together.

Stumbled a bit late on this, but, for what it’s worth, aside from being a cornerstone of the Tarnished Coast community, one can always count on ESP to have one’s back in WvWvW. A strong guild on a perfectly sound World participating in the most competitive NA Tier. You’re missing out.

We are still looking to expand our ranks in WvW — particularly during EU and Oceanic prime. We have a fair number of guild members based in these regions but could use a few more participants for our WvW activities during these times to really take off.

I am also looking to either train from within or recruit an experienced commander that can work with us and help drive.

NA players are welcome to apply as well, as we’ll always consider anyone who seems like an exceptional fit for our guild.

All of the above still stands. We are still looking for a few more players to join our WvW team. We can work with people of any skill level, and profession isn’t a huge concern (although we can always use some additional guardians and necros).

The guild has been around for nearly 9 years now, so you know it is stable. We like to keep things relaxed, and yet remain organized and cooperate together exceptionally well.

Tarnished Coast is once again open for transfers. TC offers great fights against skilled opponents, 24/7 competition, and an outstanding community.

In [ESP], we have member activity around the clock and also offer a great sense of community, and a place to experience all aspects of the game in one guild.

We remain open to new prospects who are interested in joining us for our weekly WvW activities, as well as all of the other events such as sPvP, World Boss, Guild Missions, and Dungeon Runs that we do on a regular basis.

With the April 15th patch we’re still working on putting together easy base builds that aspiring WvW’ers can use to build their own off of if they do not know where to start.
There are a lot more roamers during the day than what we used to have (which is awesome!) and working to putting together WvW events/raids during the day for other time zones instead of just NA.

We do have 2 solid commanders, 2 learning commanders, 2 EotM commanders, and several who are interested to help ESP’s WvW action (and whom I plan on talking to about looking to command >.>).

We’re working on having set people and donations to make pots and feasts and such of food for resets to constantly have food available for those who do not have their own. We also put out hero banners.

We are working on “class nights” which is focused all on one class with tips and tricks about how that class is used or can be used in WvW. For example, I did a “Mesmer Tips and Tricks” a couple weeks ago where we took time to measure how far portals can go and how to know when that measurement is up. We talked about weapons, stats, positioning, and a little about veils.

We’re a patient people, so don’t be shy to ask for help or scared about joining in on WvW action.

We are still up for accepting a few more WvW-oriented individuals into [ESP]. Our guild is an ideal choice for those who enjoy playing the game, and want to be competitive in WvW while still keeping a fun, laid-back feel.

We do a little bit of everything — from zerg vs zerg to helping sentry and small havoc.

Soon our guild will be celebrating our 9th-year together. It has been a long, fun ride, with much more yet to come.

Being a PvX guild, we keep up a regular mix of activities, seasons or no seasons.

Currently ESP runs organized WvW events 3-4 nights a week and have our members group up for smaller havoc squads or merging with other TC groups on other days.

We have a large and varied enough player base to run during NA, EU, and Oceanic times. However, we would love to have more players to round out all of these time zones, especially EU and OCX/SEA.

We’ve recently finished the casters for the “class nights”. We invite a guest speaker that plays a profession how we want out WvWers to learn, and that speaker goes over the basics of said class (like necro or mesmer for example), any tricks they know, what they use for gear and why, then answering any questions those who attend may have. They are recorded as well if you cannot make it or for some reason you cannot get on mumble that night.
We’ve done Mesmer, Necro, Ele, Engi, and Warrior thus far. Guardian is next, then Thief and Ranger.
Many enjoyed these class nights, and we will be doing them again once we finish each one. It may be a “part 2” or going over it again depending on how many new to WvW we get between now and then or not.

Extremely patient for new WvWers and will explain and answer literally anything (WvW or not ; ). We even had an entire guild guest for us one night that we ran with and they helped explain WvW as we were playing instead of straight up “101 vocab” lessons.

We are still actively recruiting WvW-oriented and WvW-curious players to join our ranks.

As a PvX guild, we provide a nice and active home base for people who play WvW, but also like to keep involved in all the other aspects of the game as well.

We welcome those with high levels of experience as well as those who wish to learn. The expectation is just that you be willing to work as part of the team and enjoy a fair amount of humor mixed in with your playing experience.

Recruitment remains open. We keep WvW fun and interesting through the benefit of having a good group of people who are fun to play with.

While we have an established and strong base, there is still room for new people to join the fray and begin their own ESP legacy.

Currently we are pulling between 20 – 30 guild members for reset nights, which is pretty much where I like to be.

We would still like to have more people who can take part in our other raid nights, currently Monday, and Thursday, plus some Saturdays, were we usually have more like 10 -15 people.

I’m also actively seeking more people to group up with our Oceanic and Euro members for raiding during these time zones.

We tend to mesh especially well with people who either can’t or don’t care to have to raid every single night, but still want a well-organized guild with both scheduled guild raids plus smaller scale action available to jump in on during off-hours.

A strong guild that has been a TC staple.

I’m still looking for an experienced driver from any time zone that can help lead raids, plus give [ESP] a presence in WvW during off hours.

We would expect this person to majority rep the guild, assist when possible with member training sessions, and be direct and confident without having to act like a jerk to people.

Happy New Years to all. The coming year is certain to be an eventful one for [ESP]. In 2015 we will see:

• The 10th anniversary of the guild
• New weekly events based upon the input of our members
• The 5th edition of our yearly guild festival, Platypusapalooza
• More of our usual daily shenanigans and inspired madness
• Further expansion into WvW

Hey there. I definitely remember LnR and look upon all the members of our old GW1 Alliance with fondness.

We pretty much all play GW2 now, on Tarnished Coast, although I still log in to GW1 every once in a while to check up on birthday presents . .

Josh (Striking Soul/No Name Error) and I (Beowulf Cadmus) are the only ones still active that I know of. We probably crossed swords with you back when FA was matched up against TC.

Pshh, treacherous FAers . . .

There were certainly some epic clashes between TC and FA back in the day. I sort of miss that intense rivalry. It kept us on our toes.

Hey man, I’d love to join, I have TS and all that jazz. I’m re-installing the game right now, I used to paly WvW everyday, I want to get back into it!

We continue to look for fun, sociable people to join our ranks. Every WvW raid that we have is a memorable experience.

Starting this week we are dipping our feet in WvW scrimmages and GvG.

Our first scrimmage went very well!! We were able to use a PvP arena to play against a guild on NSP; a spot in Edge of the Mist was available too with being different colors. Good turn out from both guilds and able to go 5 rounds then give feedback to each other on what to work on for next time and what can help both in the WvW field.
GvG/scrim schedule is alternating Wednesdays and Sundays, both at 6pm USA Pacific. 1/21, 1/25, 2/4, 2/8, etc. . .

Recruitment for ESP remains open for now.

While our main focus at the moment is WvW/GvG/PvP players, in reality anyone who is cool and sexy and friendly towards platypi has a pretty good chance of getting in.

We continue to participate in guild scrimmages and have been using those as a valuable learning opportunity to fine-tune or tactics and help train newer players.

If you crave great competition without the stress then I encourage you to give us a serious look.

Also, we are still interested in picking up another experienced driver or someone with the right motivation and mindset to learn.

We are a mixed bunch from all over the world, so any time-zone is cool by us.

We continue to push for greater WvW involvement on TC. While we already regularly take part in Friday reset and scrimmage and host two additional WvW events, we have the resources and the know-how to do much more.

We have a commander who regularly runs havoc/pugmand during EU – Early NA times, and we run organized NA WvW 3-4 times a week. We are working on creating more of an Oceanic presence.

We also continue to get ourselves acclimated to the GvG scene.

Still a more interesting post than the majority of people’s ‘bumps’. Lets go Pacquiao!

Starting in the EU time zone through NA to OCX, ESP had members in BGBL for 13 hours straight keeping BGBL paper and ending with walking yaks, building siege, and making sure the Bay waypoint got up before claiming and buffing it. We appreciate all forms of WvW: zerg, havoc, roaming, defense, fun.

[ESP] Pyro and Niniel had to leave before the screenshot, but they helped as well. Also special thanks to Yuki, Ophi, Plsno, Durgun, Goseldt, Rhindek, Mystck, and Fly (I think that’s who it was…and maybe 1 other in OBEY channel) for havocing and defending with us throughout the day as well as commanders and zerg who came to help fight bigger attacks.

We are still recruiting for WvW and would love to get some more EU time zone players to work with our EU commander.

I’d also be happy to welcome in a few more NA people to bolster our ranks also. We don’t bite (much).

Of course, in addition to WvW, we do all the PvE stuff that any little heart could desire also.
