Just wish for some company, fun or advice sometimes. New players to veterans welcomed. We can team up and help you out sometimes with skill points, events, personal storylines or whatever. You can do your own thing whenever you wish but we think it would be fun for you to occasionally join in some guild group activities.
Although we enjoy our time in-game most of us have jobs, or are students, maybe families to look after so Real Life comes first.
We love chatty guildies but even if you are not could you please at least say Hi when you login. If you don’t then it’s rather like going into a room and ignoring everyone.
Chat tabs can be set up so that even if chat panel is off you usually can see the last chat line. You could make a tab with Guild plus Map for example so you can keep an eye on guild chat. Even then it’s still easy for other members to miss if they are busy fighting, crafting or whatnot so don’t be miffed if they don’t reply to you sometimes.
Details of our Face book group, Website & Voice comms are in our Message of the day. If you use FB and/or our website as much as poss, you can keep up to date with guild matters, events etc. The use of voice comm (if only for listening) is the most effective means to communicate directions in & out of combat if we are in a guild group event.
TEMPLE of LOVE began in GW1. We made our new one at start of GW2. Sadly many of our GW1 members didn’t like this game so our numbers dwindled. Some of us moved en masse to other guilds but none were as friendly as our original ToL so we decided to resurrect it and start anew determined to find people like us to continue in a new direction. We strive not to be an elitist guild, lol we even chat about footy and Formula One racing!
We are increasing our membership gradually by recruiting more exceptional individuals, focusing on quality over quantity. We want to be big enough to experience all aspects of the game yet small enough that no one gets lost in the crowd. We hope to have enough members so that quite a few will be on most of the time.
We currently have guild parties, bounty hunts, guild treks, jumping puzzle evenings, races with level 3 chars, screenshot competitions, guild lotteries and have plans for more events like hide ’n seek, scavenger hunt and any crazy thing we can think of. Some of us do world bosses, wvw, pvp, dungeons and fractals.
SPECIAL NOTES
Being a fun guild, we make lots of jokes and may tease you. However if you find anything offensive feel free to talk to an officer or leader so we can sort it out with all concerned.
We have members from all walks of life and countries and we a pretty laid-back group and strive to be drama free. But slurs based on race, nationality, sexuality, bigotry, hostility, sexism and seriously foul language will not be tolerated. Any of these will result in removal from guild, likely with little to no warning.
You don’t have to log in every day or play for a certain amount of time but please advise us if you will not be online for a lengthy period due to certain circumstances e:g If you are going away on holiday, have internet problems etc.
Inactive members (6 weeks) will be removed from the guild. They would be welcomed back should they return to the game. Mail will be sent to them saying why they were removed and who to contact should they wish to rejoin our guild.
Lastly Multi-guilding/Non- repping
We don’t allow this unless you belong also to a dedicated guild that offers something that we can’t. eg: WvW/PvP/RP guild, Tequatl/Wurm guild, or you have your own guild for purpose of storage. You will be given Nomad rank.
NB: Members often forget to rep with a new char. Your alternate 2nd/ 3rd/ 4th etc character will automatically be in the Guild but it will be defaulted to “NOT representing Guild”. Please ensure that you change it to “representing”.
