[Vein] is an sPvP competitive team with a side focus on WvW(Combat oriented Havoc Squad).
We’re currently looking for a new 5th main team member, as our former member had to back down to our sub-team due to personal reasons.
Schedule:
Practices on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays(exceptions are accepted with notices ahead of time), with the occasional play during the week.
Practices: 2PM – 5PM (UK Time). We usually split it between sPvP and WvW, wherever we find more action and understand it improves our skill.
SPVP: In sPvP it’s pretty straight forward – We want to play competitively, participate in tournaments and become better and better.
WvW: In WvW we want to help AG by becoming a Havoc Squad. When we say Havoc Squad we don’t just mean flipping camps and other key-points, but rather be combat-oriented by disrupting enemy formations, so that our AG zerg finds it easier to fight it. This means we need to use our minds and be smart, find new ways of turning the tides of battle. Something that is undeniable is the fact that even when outnumbered AG has spirit and we want to make it even more evident – through a 5 man main team.
Back to point:
We’re looking for an Elementalist to fill our 5th role,
Requirements:
- Looking for fun
- Competitive Attitude(Not to an extreme of course)
- Age 17+
- Reside in the Aurora Glade server or be up for transferring(partial payment may be offered)
- sPvP Rank Requirement – The higher you are the better. All our members are 30+, so we’re looking for someone that has a good understanding of how things work. We do not want simply say NO to lower ranks. If you think you have what it takes, show us.
- Can main a healing/Condi cleanse build
- Able to switch builds towards what is needed personally, with the team, and current matchups.
- Communicative + TS w/ Mic(of course)
We’re not looking for “meta is the way” kind of people. We believe, and have seen for ourselves that certain builds when played the right way can be synonyms to success. As long as you’re comfortable with your build and can tend to the needs of the team, and play your part, that’s what we need
If you do choose to play a meta build though, that’s fine as well.
Currently, in our team, we’re lacking effective condition clearing, so that’s what we’re mainly looking for/focused on. We need someone that is comfortable with the playstyle and likes pressing certain buttons when condition icons start pressuring members :p
Our latest loss in the team has set us back a little, as we were planning on competing in the ESL tournaments soon. How well we get along with a new member and how quickly the synergy builds will tell how quickly we can enter a competitive scene as well.
