Hello!
It took me some time to write this down. I play guild wars 2 since the start, with some breaks in betwen of course. Sadly, around HoT release, alot of my friends quit playing GW2, which made me take a break around the release as well. But I decided to come back, yet playing alone is … a bit meh. Nobody to share victories, nobody to chat/joke with and to just do stuff together.
As such, I talked with some people, and they suggested I use this part of forum to look for a guild! And I did, with some mixed success. In case some of those guilds members will read this, and for whatever reason remember me, I don’t mean anything bad by any of this! But I found those guilds to be very small, tight groups of friends, and it was difficult to get into it, so I got discouraged, and basicly felt as if nothing have changed.
So I continued to roam Tyria alone, thinking about it, wondering if perhaps I should just join one of the guilds that advertises themself via /map announcements, but for some reason I don’t feel that would be right for me. And it occured to me, that perhaps I could simply write a post on this part of the forum in hopes of finding some guild for myself to be with!
Well backstory aside, I am not an expert on this game, I am a casual player, enjoying different types of activities, mostly PvE (Dungeons, various trains, map meta(s?) fractals etc) I also like some PvP from time to time, yet once more, I am a big casual, most of my builds are from various websites and i just pick some i like/enjoy playing and stick with it. Oh and I love lore/story in gw2 and the way its presented. Though I never did any kind of RP I still like to keep my stuff intact with the game world/lore/stuff-like-dat
Now what type of person I am … well I can be awkward, but I try to fit in with groups. I am not a conflict person, and I don’t mind to learn new stuff from peeps that are more knowledgable then me (especially game-related). I like to learn, as such whenever I ask people for help, and they try to explain, I like to understand the reasoning behind everything, that way instead of just following a trend, I can understand it and adapt in case it would change.
Now what would I be looking for? A friendly guild (duh) I don’t mind its size, because people like to mention it I thought I would too, though like I stated numerously, I am a casual player, so I would be looking for a casual type of guild, or at least a guild that would accept such people. I try to be active as much as possible.
I don’t really know what to add to this. If this is messy, I’m sorry, obviously I am not a native english speaker, but I tried my best with the help of our good buddy google!
And I didn’t mean for this to sound douchbagy or something “Hurrhurr Im so good that only selected few can have me in their group” so please don’t take it as such. I just wasn’t sure what to type, so I tried to add as much information as possible.
You don’t need to poke me in game (You can tho I won’t mind) just I guess leave a massage so I can try and poke you in game?
