Our guild, Modern Family, is looking for a few extra members. We are a stable international European guild that has been around for many years and since beta in GW2. Our main focus is PvE. As we are a medium sized guild (typically between 25 to 30 members) we do require that you represent us and that you have Desolation as your homeworld. Those requirements are in place as we aim to have a medium sized guild where people know each other and that we are able to jump into WvW together at times, without having us all split up between different maps.

Currently we are looking for fun members and it would be great if they also want to raid. We have enough members for raiding, but the roster is a bit slim.

What do we require from you?

• To be 18+ of age
• To represent us
• To have Desolation as your homeworld
• To be able to at least listen to us on Mumble during guild runs

What can you expect from us?

• Mature and laid back/relaxed atmosphere (play what you want, no yelling when someone makes a mistake etc.)
• Friendly and welcoming to new members
• Lvl 43 guild with Gilded Hollow as a guild hall
• Raids on Thursday and Sunday at 20:00 CET
• Guild Missions on Tuesday at 20:00 CET

Modern Family is what the guild name says, a modern family. We get to know eachother and have fun together. Welcomming people that are new as well as experienced players.

All aspects of the game is played by someone, but mostly we do pve stuff. I for example like to run the big meta events on the new maps.
Our guild hall is growing (lvl 20 as I write this) and everybody pitches in when they feel like they can.

Lovely guild. Usually more of a lone wolf myself and no regrets on joining them over a year ago. Give us a shot if you’re looking for a friendly dedicated bunch

Very down to earth and relaxed guild. Awesome people to be around and a general cozy atmosphere.
I’ve been in the guild for years now, and ever since i joined i have never considered leaving. They suit my playstyle in the sence that its so relaxed, yet we still work hard to get stuff done.
So if you are looking for a place to do raids and dungeons on a regular basis in a stress-free and friendly environment.. Then this is the guild for you. Give it a shot!

After being in a previous guild for 7 years in GW1 that disbanded shortly before GW2 launched, I was looking for a guild I could feel comfortable with and really feel like a part of a close-knit group.
Despite having a few personal difficulties with feeling comfortable socially, both online and in real-life, the Modern Family guild and its members welcomed me, when I joined shortly after GW2 launch, and made me feel part of what in essence is a family.

Would be really interesting in Joining, I was looking for a slightly smaller guild where I could get to actually know the individual members. I’ll drop you guys a message in game on Thursday when I’m back home. Can discuss from there. I’ve only just got back into the (upon release of HoT) so would be nice to have a few guys to get back into the game with.

Hi there, would love to join Modern Family (I’m on deso)! I’ve come back to the game a couple of weeks ago and really want to get into raids but don’t have the experience which PuG’s require! I usually do fractals and WvW.
