Guild Wars 2

My name’s Ran, and I’m afraid I’m not willing to switch to a different server permanently. I play on Fissure of Woe and my main is a level 80 ranger. I also have a 40 elementalist, 30 guardian, and 20 engineer that I’m working on leveling, in order of priority. To give you a rough idea of my level of activity, in a little under 3 months, I’ve contributed nearly 10k influence to my current guild. I’ve completed all of the living world content for the last 2 months (not counting this second month of the festival), run an embarrassingly low number of dungeons (8), but earned over 5k PvP rank points, and am usually on sometime between the hours of 3 PM – 2 AM GMT.

The size or level of accomplishment of the guild is entirely unimportant to me. All that matters is that the guild uses Teamspeak, RaidCall, or some other voice chat program, even if it’s just a big Skype call among like-minded members. What I’m interested in is finding friendly, fun people with whom I could play and talk. I’ve been playing for a few months now and the friends who I joined with rarely play anymore, but playing with people suits me best and I’ve only made friends with a few players.

As a player, I’m very flexible, helpful, and generous (e.g. I would much rather give a nice piece of armour that I can’t use to a friend or guildmate than sell or salvage it). I play very frequently and for long periods of time, but am somewhat casual. While I am looking to gain a more advanced understanding of the game and am a fast learner, guilds who take dungeons, PvP, and WvW seriously would probably be annoyed by my lack of experience – though I am keen to participate in them more.

As a person, I’m not nearly as formal as this probably makes me sound. Despite being on a European server, I’m an American girl – and, as such, can be somewhat loud or blunt from time to time – but don’t expect a stereotype. I am friendly, enthusiastic, and have a wide variety of interests – primarily artistic and cultural/lingual. I enjoy conversations ranging from fart jokes and banter to in-depth discussions on ancient civilizations. Basically, I’m easy to get along with.

Well why don’t you give this little ol’ guild I’m with a try. It’s on the Aurora Glade server. It does have a age requirement 21+. But we are eccentric in our own little way. You can read the recruitment post here.
